Coupling Request Hour.

 

I'm loving it, full MV of coupling songs available to watch for free.

 

Total of 195 full MVs. I was so confused when I saw this.

For the Coupling Request Hour, the ranking will be based on Youtube views and AKB mobile votes.

I've done a very quick and rough count but AFAICS about half of the 204 full MVs in the playlist were uploaded today and the remainder were already on the channel - e.g. 'Kimi no Koto ga Suki Dakara' and 'Choose Me!' which are already linked from their respective Wiki pages so hopefully it wouldn't be that big a job. I'm going to start working my way through the playlist this evening, I'm not sure how long it will take (another rough estimate I've made is that these MVs total 16 hours in length!) but for each one I watch I'll check its Wiki page and I'll add it if it's not there.

Publishing the B-sides' full MVs on YT is a great initiative !
I'm discovering a lot of good songs and great MVs. For instance, Soredemo Kanojo wa totally went unnoticed for me ine the past but I'm really enjoying the song and MV right now (great visuals, members, etc):

This is how we're voting for Request Hour (Coupling Songs Edition) this year.

The songs have now been uploaded and their streams will be counted. The songs with the most streams will be performed at Request Hour.

Personally, I'm loving this but so many of my favourite coupling songs don't have music videos I can't vote for Mystery Line or Yosougai no Story or Mata Anata no Koto wo Kangaeteta...

Also not sure if Team Surprise songs such as Hell or Heaven will count, since they're not technically coupling songs but stand-alone (digital) singles.

Out of the options I'm given, I would personally put forward Yaban na Kyuuai as one of my favourite coupling songs. It would be nice to see performed by a group of good dancers.
