Graduation announcements thread

No, Yukirin is a legend, an exception.

 

I find it funny because Yukirin has always said she doesn't feel like a captain, but I feel like that is exactly what she is - in the original sense of the word. She feels like an old sea captain who's not going to leave his ship until it sinks and every other man has left first.

 

It feels like everyone I follow in the group is leaving one by one. I guess that's partially my fault for not keeping that up to date with the younger, newer members.

Muto Tomu is my current oshi and she probably doesn't have much longer left in the group.

There are still a lot of great girls sticking around for now, though I'm hoping the new gen can bring in some interesting fresh faces who can give AKB a new lease of life (no pressure!)

 

Careful, Yukirin's ears start burning anytime someone mentions the o....l....d.... word!

 

Umeyama Cocona of NMB48 announced her graduation.

I couldn't say that I ablsolutly shoking to hear this news. I have a feelings that NMB will change soon and old gens are will not be part of the future of NMB.

 

NMB's situation has nothing to do with age and generations, you either belong to the Shibuyas or the Yamamotos, and this time there is no Kreese.

 

2021 - my sister group oshis announce graduation.
2022 - same again, same again...

 

Nishikawa Rei of AKB48 Team A announced her graduation as well.

Her graduation date is schedule for March.

 

O.................M...............G I means NMB fandom joking that Cocona is like going to graduate soon since she seems draw back and lose her ambition in 2021 and well pity on NMB.
Cocona is my kami-oshi in NMB48 now, maybe it's time to leave NMB48 a side.

Well well what happen today? Both 557 and Rei are graduating from high school this year so maybe that's the reason?

 

Reichan is my current second-favourite in NMB48 and is therefore set to be my next oshimen so you can pretty much guarantee she'll soon graduate the way things are going for me in the group

Apparently Rei said that she intends to go to University to study to become a dietician.

 

This is such a sad day... one of my favorites in AKB and one of my favorites in NMB both announcing graduation on the same day ._. and now I have 4 favs with pending grads (others are Kaede and Renacchi). it's not even like I have that many favs in 48G and yet everyone is graduating, and this is so unexpected. I saw that Cocona had less activities in recent months, but when she got the center of the single, I never thought that there will be a graduation announcement now... and Rei is totally out of nowhere and shocking... SIGH I'm sad

 

i feel the same. it's very anxiety inducing and i can only guess that there was a contract change or members got some sort of bad news that's incentivizing them to graduate. hoping the turnover slows down soon.

Cocona, why? My NMB all time Ni-Oshi, why?
I don't want to completely abandon NMB, it already shrank in my attention, but now the biggest attention catcher (for me) will leave..

It's not like I actually thought just because the year changed idols wait with their announcements, but THIS is such a punch in the stomach..

 

I can now do to NMB what I was already doing with NGT: pretend it doesn't exist.

Time to become sakamichi fans guys. There's always popular and interesting girls to follow. Why losing time on these dead 48 sister groups?
