I wasn't looking, but Inoue was too funny to ignore. I like that she's quite cute with the short hair. I hope she gets more and more time in the spotlight. What ever she does is amusing.

RANZE! Nothing quite like calling her name out during a concert... I miss those days (although I do it at home during the livestreams).
RANZE! She was criminally underutilised and should've been in senbatsu more than the 2 times. Those 2 times Nogi won the Record of the year. It's no coincidence that without her in the lineup they haven't won it since... LOLz!
RANZE! She's now retired and once again I have to wish her all the happiness in the world.

Makes me worry for my oshimen.

 

I ranked her pretty high last year, but after she announced graduation for some reason I completely stopped following her activity. I don't like her any less, to be honest I'm not sure what happened. I guess I panicked about having no favorites left in SKE and focused my attention real hard on the newer gens.

Missed her from my post yesterday. I just love how weird she is? Her reactions, expressions, her social media, she's just quite offbase and unpredictable, but also very idol-ish. If she wasn't in HKT I could see her fitting in with an alternative idol group. She's also bloomed into quite the beauty, and I love her fashion/makeup and style.

When Orin first joined, I was worried she might be overshadowed by her sister, but she's grown into her own character well. Her combo with Tomu is really good, because they are sisters they can be very frank and honest with each other, especially on Showrrom, and in MC they bounce of each other well, swapping between boke/tsukkomi roles as necessary. Her move to A will be interesting, I want to see how she develops without her sister.

She's still here! Well, not for much longer. I've liked Myao for a long time, despite her ups and downs of popularity, she's still working hard in many areas. I can't help but hope she does well after graduation. At any rate, she seems to be one of the most sought after talents when talking about Kpop in Japan.

I don't even know why I like OdaEri so much? Before I knew it I would look forward to seeing her name in the lineup for stages. She has a cool and down-to-earth personality compared to many of the hyperactive idols I'm a fan of. She's currently getting a lot of jobs where she can show off her singing voice, so I hope she continues with success in that area, god knows AKB needs more vocalists.

Koike Minami's growth since the end of Keyaki has been phenomenal. I really liked her before, but now she's a highlight of performances like Nagaredama. She really can do both ends of the spectrum from intense and angry to sweet and innocent. If she just re-embraces the pengi she might move even higher on my list.

Yamaguchi Haruyo's personality just really appeals to me for some reason, and despite losing her side-pony is still the cutest Hinata. I think she has a lot of untapped and unrefined variety potential, and hopefully she gets more performance highlights like the other 3rd gens have had too.

2021 was something of a mixed year for Chiho, in February she had her first A-side center with 'Hitorigoto de Kataru Kurainara' but a couple of months later she had to take a hiatus for a while due to poor health. She's back now, everything seems fine and she's now my oshimen in STU following Marina's graduation. I had a couple of online talks with her last month and as usual they went very well, in fact for me she's second only to my AKB kami-oshi Komi for being so sweet and lovely with her fan interactions.

Sakura was one of the first 48G members to make an impact on me when I entered the fandom in 2014/15 thanks to her prominence in the MVs for 'Kibouteki Refrain' and 'Green Flash' as well as in 'Otona Ressha', the first HKT MV I ever saw. Having said that I admittedly never properly 'oshied' her until she appeared in IZ*ONE when she became my bias in my all-time favourite Kpop group. I'm very excited in anticipation for her appearance in the new HYBE group and to see whether it'll reach a similar international prominence as BTS from the same agency.
