    That sasshi photo cover for ar magazine look so cool & chic. I think it's 1 of my all time fav.:inlove:

    And congrats sasshi for her new regular fujitv talk show as mc with asako that will start on April. I think it's called talk queen?
    I guess every ending (konkura) really have new beginning :banana:

    Sasshi's retrospective of 2021

    Retrospectives for 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020


    Even though Sasshi herself said that "this year was the most calm one in her career", it was still very successful, many great things happened in her life: Youtube channel, new cosmetics brand, Zeroichi show. Sasshi is truly an epitome of Gyakutenryoku - she always comes back as winner from the pinch situations. Who would have thought that even when the whole world suffers from COVID restrictions, she still manages to progress? It looks like each year Sasshi has some major direction in which she expands the most. With success of her Youtube channel and makeup brand last year was probably the year when Sasshi established herself as a beauty guru/influencer. And with creation of 2 new idol groups and smooth sailing of IkoNoi, she also continued to increase her influence as a producer/lyricist.


    Good
    - Sasshi started Youtube channel
    She was very hesitant about it at first, because many famous celebrities' channels flopped in the past, and it could have hit her reputation, but she worried for nothing. Within few months her channel became the most subscribed 48g Youtube channel. Her most viewed video reached 9M views, which is a record among 48g members as well. Within a year she reached 1M subscribers which allowed her to place 6th in the "Youtube Top Creators of 2021, Japan" and 4th in "The most influential celebrities-youtubers" rankings. Two of her videos also ranked in the "Top 5 of the most viewed Youtube videos created by female celebrities in 2021"
    The only downside - as I feared, it looks like by the end of the year Sasshi got tired of it(?), and she started to release videos irregularly so the views of her videos dropped a bit. Oh well, I guess, her main goal was to prove that she can be successful on Youtube as well and to reach 1M subscribers which she achieved, and her fans got to see more interesting content from her, so it's all good.

    - Sasshi started her own makeup brand Ririmew
    Following the success of TOPARDS, Ririmew became hit as well. At first, it was sold only online, then there was a pop-up store campaign and finally it became available in offline shops across the country! It even won some magazine awards, and Sasshi already has plans to add new products to Ririmew line in 2022!

    - She also released a book about makeup
    It was more of a promotional booklet for Ririmew brand but still.

    - New CM deals:
    Karada Odayaka Cha W, Ayataka tea
    New CMs for old contracts: Karada Sukoyaka Cha W, Hoken no Madoguchi, Quickle, Cloud Circus, Sanko Seika (1, 2), Liese, Housemate

    Sasshi became MC in a few new regular shows - Zeroichi, 100%! Appeal-chan, Chou Muteki Class and Bachelor Japan 4.

    - Interest in Sasshi grew a bit according to "Nikkei Entertainment Talent Power Ranking"
    I wonder if her Youtube channel played a role in it.

    - 9th place in TV appearance ranking
    In the first half of 2021 Sasshi was 4th in the CM ranking and 8th in the TV appearance ranking.

    - Sasshi became the anchor Olympic torch bearer for Oita

    - Sasshi became a "Face of the Year 2021" according to MAQUIA magazine

    - Koisuru Fortune Cookie MV reached 200M views on Youtube


    Success as an idol producer
    - Auditions for two new Sasshi's groups have started (=LOVE sister group and Virtual Cinderella virtual idols)
    - ≠ME debuted with mini album "Chou Tokkyuu ≠ME Yuki"
    - ≠ME also released 2 singles in a year!
    - =LOVE released their first album "Zenbu, Naisho"
    - And also 2 singles in a year!
    - =LOVE and ≠ME had their first regular kanmuri TV show "Ikonoi, dou desu ka?"
    - =LOVE had a national tour with a final concert at Yokohama Arena - their biggest venue to date
    - They also performed at other big venues like Nippon Budokan, Makuhari Messe, etc.
    - =LOVE were invited to Music Station for the first time
    - =LOVE and ≠ME had a joint IkoNoi Fes at a big outdoor venue Fuji-Q Highland Conifer Forest. Thanks to awesome photos of members in rain and soap bubbles this event became legendary among fans.

    Sasshi helped
    - Promoted ex-AKB Uchida Mayumi's yakiniku restaurant IWA on her Twitter
    - Sasshi let Minegishi Minami direct MV for =LOVE's single "Weekend Citron" and Fuwa-chan write rap lyrics for it
    - People started to treat male idol 9Taro better after Sasshi followed and mentioned him on her SNS
    - Shige's graduation dress was a present from Sasshi and Sakura


    Bad
    - Satake Nonno's and Sasaki Maika's scandal. Not exactly Sasshi's "bad", but I'm sure it was pretty nerve-racking for her, especially Maika's case which caused a whole week of silence and endangered a well-being of the whole group and maybe even whole Sasshi's producer career.
    - Sasshi's TIF chairmanship has ended

    ^ that was the most random SR even by Sasshi's standards :^^;:
    it was so rushed that in the beginning she didn't even notice that her camera was switched on in frontal mode and it captured Sasshi in a bit revealing clothes(?). that's why she asked the owner of Showroom Maeda if anything can be done about this footage during the stream. and it looks like now it is automatically deleted from Youtube, because I saw another recording of this SR with a frontal view part (but Sasshi wasn't captured in it) yesterday, but today none of the recordings can be found on Youtube anymore.

    another thing I found interesting - Sasshi said that she has quite a lot of non-celebrity female friends. and that lots of friends guest at her house.

    I was also surprised to know that grandma Sasshi is quite unfamiliar with TikTok :^^;:
