I think the reasonable thing to do right now is to wait for the official statement by Nogi's management. Unfortunately, I think there's a good chance of them being actually true as shown by some, but I'll be skeptical for now. I won't be here hating the girl, her live must go on, but people HAVE TO take responsibility for things you say. If you regret things just after you get backslash, it's hard to believe you are actually "regretting" it, it'll always look like you are just afraid of the backslash. And I don't think Nogi's management will give her a chance to make it up, since it tainted the group's image more than any recent scandal in just a few hours. Obviously, just if it is true. Let's wait.
After a bit of rethinking, I think this situation is beyond help. Her actions are horrible and deserved much criticism however I still believe she can still improve and be a better human being in the future because of her young age if she even care to self-reflection all her actions. Even then, for the sake of her mental state and other members, being in nogizaka46 definitely not suitable for her. I believe this might be the right move for her well being. Even then, it's up to her to choose what's the best for her life. But yeah, let's just wait for official statement.
I haven't seen any of it, don't know how much it has spead already. Don't want to dig in to it. But this is quite concerning. For her and the group of course. Honestly, I'm still hoping none of it is true. More than disappointing if it's really true. As some already posted here, making fun, saying bad stuff to disabled people is just plain wrong. It's sick. Shows a lot about your character if you do something so low. 18, 17 or even 16, you already know what you're doing at that age. You're no longer a little kid. Sure, we should learn to forgive and give people a 2nd chance. We all make mistakes. But you must take responsibility for your actions. Again, IF all of these are true, either management is so incompetent and clueless, or they knew something but still proceed with it. They might release a statement saying "sorry for any inconvenience" and that's the end of it. Or they do nothing at all. Oh boy, good luck We'll see in the coming days.
This is getting too deep and out of hand now, I just hope the management make a proper statement after all this because as long she is the current center of the group whatever happen next will effect Nogi. I don't mind supporting even for previous rumours but if it can effect entire group to this extent then I hope an immediate action will be taken even if it cost the single.
(IF it's true) It's really hard for her to continue in the group. For herself, the group and the fans. Can you imagine the other members right now? I personally would be really unmotivated to keep following the group because some of the things she said were really mean on many levels. I don't know how I would react to her on stage if she continued. I hope she can grow as a human being, she's a young talented girl and that's plausible, but I think staying in the group until she reaches that stage is big turn off for me. That would be unfair to the other members as well. Also, she'll need support from her family, friends to overcome this. It may be a big mental burden. This may be the end of her career, because we've seen artists in Japan having their career cut short for things WAY less than the things we read about her today. I know I'm a single fan and I would not affect the group, but that's just my opinion btw.
This is the first time that the center is chosen even before the possibility for fans to know her. No showrooms, no presentation, no omitatekai before the center choice, nothing. In this situation, the wisest thing for the group would be for them to pretend nothing has happened and then, after 29th single promotion period ended, she would "graduate" due to personal troubles. However, I really want them to make an official statement, we need to know what is true and what is not, we deserve to hear something from herself and from management. It will be really difficult to support the centre and the single now that this things have become public. I will not hate on her, but I jutt can't support her either until we have an official statement. This is so problematic for her and the group.

We barely know anything about Aruno so what's the point of keeping her in? Girls have been kicked out for doing less. If the things she said about disabled people, women, black people are true then she's a horrible person, I don't care about her age. And someone in Nogi's management needs to be fired for not doing proper background check.
Nogi's management is a joke, it's been a while that info about 29th single formation and Aruno being the center have been leaked and turned out to be true. They literally have a snitch there. Also, they put her as center even before the fans knew her existence, so all the infos about her, even if would came out, she was already their center at that point, it's so obvious there's something wrong. All they're gonna do it call it fake news and act pretending like nothing is happening like they already did.
I tried an experiment. It took 10 minutes. Please, don't take it personally. It's just to show how fake it is to generate fake news. Since it's a screenshot, it's easy that it's forged. It would be much different if we see it directly on her account. But i don't think it's the case, is it? If so we had to put trust MGMT on reacting to that.

No, I haven't followed thoroughly this matter. Plus, I thought that the accounts (Instagram accounts, i heard) of the new members had been closed before their introduction. So it seemed strange that all these info came directly from their account. But it's possible after all.
Internet Archive links are hardly forgery, it's not a simple screenshot, there's a date and links attached to it. You can even check the same page on different dates if available. Just check old websites through Wayback Machine, better than any explanation I can give. It would need HUGE set up, and previous knowledge of her being chosen (months ago) to make something like this. I think believing it was forged is a fringe theory right now. Right now, management is probably thinking about damage control and what to do about the single as well.
I guess there's always a chance that they might pull her but judging from how they handled the Hoshino thing I think you're right. I've been staying silent ever since Aruno was announced as center. I just couldn't accept her as center, coupled with bad song, bad choreography, trying to be Keya-like, it's just an accumulation of more and more bad decisions. And with this latest revelations about Aruno, it is just on a disaster level. At this point if they just apologize and continue promoting the single as per normal, I would say Nogi is over for me. At the very least I would expect mgmt should stop making her appear on any TV programme, either by stopping the single promotion entirely or replacing her with someone else quickly. If it's the later, I hope her replacement is not one of the other 5ki. I don't want any of the new girls to shoulder the burden. Give it to an established member, or make it Asuka-Mizuki w-center with reformed choreography.
