Not sure about 'better' but I believe Naachan and Yuirii are both quite decent as well.

From looking at the lineup, I feel like they went with good singers and cute looking members more so than good dancers, with the exception of Hitomi herself (who's more of a dancer than a singer).

I feel like there isn't a lot of 'dance' members left at the moment. Yokoyama Yui (8) was known as a good dancer, but she recently graduated. I thought Yasuda Kana was quite good too, but she is graduating in about 2 weeks as well. Oda Erina isn't bad, but I feel like she's more of a singer. Yumoto Ami and Kobayashi Ran are good dancers in my opinion, but Yuami has been ignored for years now and Ran-chan has gained some publicity last year, but not much. And neither of them are senbatsu or popular members, unfortunately.

As a Ran-chan oshi, obviously I want Ran to be picked for senbatsu, but I hope they'll take a chance on her and put her in a line-up so more people can notice her.

I think Hiichan is a good center choice because she has stage presence, she can perform well and she's recognised by a lot of people right now. But I think they'll either have to go with Naachan and more vocal-based singles in the future, or pick some more dancers for future line-ups. Maybe there's some good dancers among 17th Generation :flower:

My opinion is they choose Hiichan as center so a dance focused song is chosen to fit her, not because it's a dance song so they choose Hiichan. And talking about good dancers, Naachan and Yuiri are decent dancers, Erii can't dance but Yuiyui and Zukky can, and then don't forget Naru and Miu although they aren't center candidates. You don't need to be the best dancer to center a song through, if a dance song is all about the best dancer then Team K won't be left out years after years.
I think Hiichan is a good choice and I'm all with her. But not because she's the best dancer is just her talent, her stage presence, her fandom, her recognition, public interest in her right now is "the right time", good for her and for the whole group.

Well at least she got to be in her group for several years before receiving this so-called "hate". Because you were hating on a Nogizaka girl literally just days after she debuted. At least nobody here is saying Hiichan should be pressured by fans into graduating or saying she should be kicked out by management like you said about this other girl. Even more hypocritical that you point the finger at AKB wotas for not caring about singing and dancing skill while urging a girl with talent in singing to quit the moment she debuts because she doesn't have an "oujou sama" image.

    * The percentage of tickets is based solely on sold-out slots. The actual number is probably higher but inaccessible to the public.

Note 1: I put Team 8 members in their concurrent teams because that's how they're listed on the online talk website.
Note 2: People could only buy up to 10 slots for this sales round.

Also, personal comment, but I feel like you guys hate Team K for no reason :cold: Why the hell hasn't even Zukkii sold out a single slot yet T_T

Last single at 2nd round of 1st sale, Zukki only sold out 1 slot (with smaller total slots). This time 2 slots almost sold out I don't think that she's drawing back.
Wow Mahopyon, may the push finally work out.

It means how many slots are nearly sold out - "Murayama Yuiri 45/72 (5)" means that she has 45 slots sold out entirely, but another 5 are nearly sold out. You can expect that during the next round, Yuiri will have 50+ slots sold out. It's very likely but it's not guaranteed.

It's basically guaranteed that Yuiri will have 72/72 at the end of the current round. Maybe through sheer chance a couple slots will remain open, but she'll certainly have way more than 50.

Same goes for the other members who've already sold out a number of slots. If you want to talk to them you need to apply this round.

Still in limited rounds fighting over the hyper popular members. 3rd round is the first unlimited round so expect a lot more sold out slots and a lot more people applying for their actual oshimen.

Team 8 has a lot of promising dance oriented members, some are even juniors. It was a revelation to me when Ayaka beat Hitomi on that pseudo freestyle dance off in that 17live stream, I was expecting Hitomi would win, probably many others did as well. Come to think of it, correct me if I'm wrong, but I observed they delegate the more energetic or dance intensive songs to Team 8. Too dance oriented even, I only know of Erina as their vocalist. Variety ability is very high among the eito.

As expected, that was the last round to get tickets for Yuiri (and Naachan, and Yuiyui).
(Though really, the previous round was if you wanted any certainty. Lost all my Yuiri applications this time :()

They appeared with the new costumes at Sakiin Kita. I believe it will be something very different, not expected from AKB. Maybe a more experimental song with futuristic vibes, judging by the costumes and also the makeup and hairstyles. I can be completely wrong of course haha
