A new cluster break-out. The following members have tested positive for COVID-19: Taguchi Manaka, Ichikawa Manami, Shimoguchi Hinana, Mogi Shinobu, Yamabe Ayu and Hattori Yuna. That is 6 out of the 8 members who participated in the Team K shonichi performance the other day. Yamauchi Mizuki and Takahashi Ayane, who were also part of the performance, have not tested positive (yet?), but they will enter self-isolation as well and monitor their symptoms.

Because of this, the upcoming online hanashikai session for all 8 members for April 30th will have to be postponed. You can check the official blog post by AKB48 here:

The following theater performances will be cancelled:

Wow hirajima natsumi also there. Her face is really one of the best looking among the girls during her time. My eyes always looking for her if she was performing. Not too mention her legendary placement in sousenkyo.

 

Huh, didn't even notice Kikuchi before. Guess I'll have to watch this one.

This is also wildly misleading. As near I can tell what actually happened is what we already knew happened. AKS split up into multiple companies. Some of those stayed in the same building and are what you will find on those other floors (e.g. Vernalossom), others moved elsewhere (e.g. VISUAL NOTES [old (AKS) address] e.g. Osarecompany--funnily enough the English version of their company page still shows the old AKS address.) Other parts of the company were taken over by entirely different companies (e.g. the sister groups).

KR dramas are probably very popular among them. But how about TW dramas ? Do any of them watch it ?

 

In the early 2000s there was a big Taiwanese wave in Japan and East Asia in general, but I don't know if nowadays they are still tuning in (probably not).

 

In my country, it seems to died down after 2010s. Today hardly anyone talking about Taiwanese drama here.

Off topic: When I was a student, I sit near a girl who was a big fan of both Taiwanese wave and Hallyu. Hardly a day passed without she talking to me or to someone else about either her beloved Taiwanese actor or her favorite K-Pop singer. I was a K-Pop fan so it was OK to me.
Back then because I had no internet access, I thought J-Pop was something obscure and mediocre. Only much later, I realized I was dead wrong.
