Megu will be performing in the musical "Aku no Musume" (Daughter of Evil) alongside Onishi Momoka and Sally Amaki (among others), running from Oct 8-12. http://www.39amipro.com/akunomusume2021/ https://twitter.com/o_megu1112/status/1423480496563003396 https://twitter.com/o_megu1112/status/1423482949933043716 リンレンの悪ノ娘、悪ノ召使が大好きでよく聴いてたから凄く嬉しい!! This is probably the first and last time I've had my picture taken with a sword and gun... Did you get the Blu-ray yet? https://www.instagram.com/p/CSbxbHRhcMO/
Megu served as a judge for the LEGO "Master Model Builder" contest. I watched from behind the finalists as they tried to make the best work they could in the limited time they had, and they all seemed to be having fun and taking it very seriously. I was a judge, but from my point of view, all of them were No.1. I had a really valuable experience today! Here are some photos of the amazing creations at LEGOLAND Tokyo! https://www.instagram.com/p/CS__efrhYB2/
I've just taken a look at the LEGOLAND Tokyo website to find out more about the event and I've found a 3.5-hour video of it: if the video does not show watch the video here Unfortunately I don't have the time to watch much of it but Megu does appear in it at least several times. She's sitting in the middle of a group of 5 people (I recognise the person to her right as TV producer and talento Dave Spector) and her first appearance is at 19:00. AFAICS she remains seated through the video with the other 4 who each comment from time to time on the progress of the 'Lego Master Model Builders' while they compete for the prize.
I know Dave Spector as part of Team J-Melo. He is also famous for his tweets, e.g., "[Breaking news] Due to the intense heat in Sapporo, the men's marathon will be held in the underground shopping mall."
There's a Showroom event this week so Megu will be streaming every/almost every day, in various cosplay. (Yesterday was Red Riding Hood, today she's in a prisoner costume putting together a set of Minion-themed Legos.) https://www.showroom-live.com/48_Megu_Taniguchi She also had an interview with Walkerplus+ that was just published https://www.walkerplus.com/article/1055146/ Talks about her recent acting work, senbatsu selection, Yuihan's graduation, etc. Plus lots of gorgeous photos.
Megu (behind the question mark in the thumbnail) is a guest in Chori's latest video in which they have a conversation where they try and use words from the lyrics of 'Ne mo Ha mo Rumor': if the video does not show watch the video here
Cute Santa pic from Megu's Twitter just now : https://twitter.com/o_megu1112/status/1474335513582911489
I had a 'Moto Kare Desu' CD jacket signing today from Megu (at exactly 10 minutes in, credit to uploader): if the video does not show watch the video here I said in my message to her that I'm from England and she did try speaking some English - she said "I'm very happy, have a nice day"
Earlier today the YT channel of 'AKB48, Saikin Kiita?' posted the following video of Megu with Erii and Mahopyon at Kakegawa Station on the Tenhama Line for the recent unveiling of a nameboard 'Mote Kare desu' and some associated publicity events: if the video does not show watch the video here It's nearly 90 minutes long but I've just watched it right through, and I think the camera operator might be a fan of the group as after the ceremony there are many lengthy close-up shots of the 3 members especially Megu. (e.g. from 1:13:00 to 1:17:15) Definitely worth watching!
I watched it. Haven't been into AKB since 2017 but still try to keep up with Erii and Megu. So was nice to watch.
