somehow, those don't show for me .... btw, neither do MVs for a sides

if I do inspect source in Safari in the forum I get
    <iframe width="500" height="300" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/9gqOPyjIys8?wmode=opaque" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe>
which is exactly what the wiki does
but in the wiki de `body` element is empty
    btw Safari Version 15.5 (17613.2.7.1.8)

I'll have a look using my iMac at work, that might be running a different version (it does, 15.1)

and it works on that Mac
    [IMG]

so either an undocumented feature in Safari 15.5 or some new added security option :/

Thanks for taking the time to look into it

That's the version I've got. My OS version is Monterey 12.4.

@dutchie @David61 I have the same issue on my MacBook Pro 2017 running on 12.3.1 - the videos haven't shown up for me on the wiki for a few months now.

To be honest, I have no idea really what's happening, I thought it was the Safari version, but @David61 is running the same version, what I see is that the contents of the YouTube iframe is empty on the wiki, but it is correct on the forum
I first suspected Apple might have tightened some security stuff, but as said, it works for @David61, I also checked my Wifi router as that does some security blocking, but my iMac has a physical connection and shows the same behaviour

hmm, I'll try my MacBook over my personal hotspot via my Phone ..... well, same result

ow, should have looked at the developer console
    [IMG]

    that's the problem ..... infinite redirection ....
now to find out what the fix is :/

ow, it's cookies .... I should have known
if you remove the cookies for YouTube it works
    Safari|preferences
    [IMG]
    then
    [IMG]
doesn't get rid of the stacktrace, but I no longer get the redirect error

and I log into YouTube .....
    and it's broken again :asdfgh:

(and it still doesn't really explain why it does work on the forum though)

if the video does not show watch the video here

Here's a screenshot from my MacBook just to prove that all is well for me:

How do I do that? I just see the following:

    ==Music Video (Full Ver.)==
    <youtube>rqgVSd0u00o</youtube>

Is there a way of doing HTML editing on the Wiki? If there is, then my apologies that I'm not aware of it.

hmm... I'm not a wiki editor, not sure what would happen if you used the full url, you might give that a go
I suspect there is no real way to insert 'raw' html, as that can lead to severe security issues
maybe I should apply for an editor account on the wiki so I won't have to bother you with all this

btw, wouldn't you want the 'wiki editor' badge in stead of the 'donor' badge?

I've added the full URL so it now looks like this:

    ==Music Video (Full Ver.)==
    <youtube>www.youtube.com/watch?v=rqgVSd0u00o</youtube>

(that underlining doesn't appear, it just came when I pasted it into here)

Still working OK for me in both Safari and Chrome but would you like to try it now?

no go, the wiki strips the protocol from the url it seems :/

so this won't fix it, but thanks for your help anyway,

ok, @natsu-kun gave me a wiki account, and I had a look at the code of the YouTube extension ..... and as usual we ran into the concrete wall of not being able to directly edit files on the server .... I'm 99.9% sure it's a really simple fix, but as it is we can't change this :(

so this goes on the wishlist

I did a quick google serch but it doesn't seem like MediaWiki has native support for it.
I do see you can add css attributes to tables, so you might be able to create the structure you want by added/removing borders to table cells to make the lines between the tournament brackets (you would need to test that)
    https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Help:Tables
your cells could look like this
    [IMG]
Hmmm, they use double height cells, you better try to draw the bracket in a spreadsheet and add the borders there and then try to recreate what you have on the wiki, it's not a simple as it looks

I stole the idea from this blog (but that's another type of wiki implementation)
    https://river.me/blog/tournament-brackets/
I will add that it will be a lot of work, and if you cannot modify the cells it will not work at all

Update on the Safari not showing the YouTube player issue, turns out it is caused by the 'cross-site tracking prevention' feature in Safari, when you turn that off the redirect works again and you get the MVs YouTube player.

That's annoying, I don't necessarily want to turn that off :^^;:
