I think you put your finger on what is really my main issue. Even worse than the rules being applied at management's convenience, and the rules being rotten in the first place, is that it should really be the management's job to teach and protect the girls. We're talking about teenagers for the most part, after all. A large group like a *48 or *46 needs to teach them to avoid trouble as much as it needs to teach dancing, and in my opinion it really should have one or two psychologists or counselors on staff for all the stress the entertainment life creates. This stuff should be considered part of ‘producing’ teens.

We know now the Insta is real. She didn't link to Twitter from Insta (forgot?) but she did mention in the latest post that she started Twitter. So unless her new Twitter has a weird username, I think for now it's safe to assume this one is real.

 

I'm not convinced yet. I'm still waiting for a märchen debut cover to be posted to be 100% sure

I caught her Insta Live yesterday (post-show thanks and impressions), she said from now on she's going to start looking for an agency. So I guess that settles that. She also said she wrote the lyrics for the original songs herself, or at least for 今の私.

 

so who's been financing any design, promotional material, costumes, DJ, backup dancers, rehearsal space and whatnot thus far? dare i think about it...

 

What you're probably thinking is a possibility for sure, I did think about it too but I think she's just investing the money she saved from STU times into making a bit of a splash, so when she resumes the career from now on she can do it from a good standing (as someone who sold out a self-produced event instead of someone who got kicked out of an idol group because of unconfirmed rumors). She also thanked her father a lot without saying why (her mom did the costumes), so I'd assume daddy injected some cash too. I don't think she's rich, but from her education, decoration, and always having decent-quality gear for streams, I get the feeling her family is at least well-off.

 

it's cute that her mom did the costumes. if this is meant to be a showcase they should have hired someone to film this and put it on youtube. which makes me wonder why she hasn't started a youtube channel yet... she doesn't even have a public tiktok afaik.
whatever the case she has a lot of potential that shouldn't be wasted, so i hope she finds the right place to put them to use.
