It depends, Keep it True and Wacken open air do but Bang your Head festival does not.

 

Why would they just use YouTube when instead they can stream on domestic platforms and then a month later restream on TV?

 

I just adore the inclusion of these. I mean, it seems like the management sometimes cares a bit about the theater stages, like putting some songs from the current team stages on festival's setlists. I just wish that this awareness of them that theater stages matter increased at the point of them releasing brand new original stages for the girls.

It's extremely difficult for new stages to happen? Yes it is. But I can't help being at least a bit hopeful, giving that even SKE is having brand new theater stages.

Oh, dude. I really like it when Yuiyui stands at the zero position. She's an ace indeed.

 

I did say minimal effort right? Domestic sales of Japanese artists are more than sufficient for the music industry to remain profitable.

Point is, they don't have to be that 'thirsty' to put the festival on Youtube or tiktok with an objective of promoting it to potential fans overseas.

A little confirmation, seems like only BNK48's Cherprang went to Namba, the rest of the team is in AKB48 theater.
Makes sense since Cherprang is a big Yamamoto Sayaka oshi.

Were you even aware that the stage was broken?

 

Are those no-Youtube-upload music festivals meant to promote each artist in the festivals?
Kpop is the best working idol business format at the moment.
Kcon selling those tickets means the VOD does not undermine the ticket sale. It suggests ticket sale of TIF too won't significantly be affected despite the Youtube upload.

Domestic platform? What free domestic platform is more popular both in Japan and aboard than Youtube?
TV? I'm speechless.

Minimal effort? Spending over a month to compete on World of Dance and appearing on America's Got Talent making statement they wanted to be global star was a minimal effort. Ok. LDH collaborating with HYBE Japan and, Yoshimoto collaborating with CJ ENM must be "minimal" efforts too.
Oversea? As if only foreigners use tiktok and youtube.

Cherprang visits NMB theater as the delayed prize for that Asia Festival Tiktok contest. Not sure why she made such decision. While Sayanee is her kamioshi, Sayanee has graduated. Meanwhile, her nioshi Naachan still is active at AKB48.

According to Ishida Yuumi's tweet Cherprang just loves NMB so it's that simple haha.
She even did lesson and sang Nagiichi together with them.

Team 8 Summer station performances were amazingly fun to watch! They had unit songs too for both noon and night performances.

If it was true, every single major music festival would have adopted that buisness model, why don't they ?

And yet, those TIF YT uploads which generate 0 yens for the artists / the festival organisation won't survive long.

Those footages mean that there is a not free online broadcast, and catch up online viewing, which those unauthorised uploads are affecting.

It doesn't hurt to get some informations before pulling out some absurd criticisms about something you know nothing about.

I totally agree. Both Team 8 and the main group performances at Summer Station had great setlists. Talking about the Team 8 one, Wagamama na Nagareboshi with Remitan and Hiyuka and Cross with Momoka, Hamachan and Kaoru were specially beautiful to watch.

 

Aren't you tired yourself of complaining about literally every tiny little thing?

Cherprang has probably spent loads of time with Naachan recently, considering they've been working on their single, which is partially produced by Naachan and Yuirii. Not to mention, Naachan wasn't even at the AKB48 performance that the BNK48 and CGM48 senbatsu attended... what point is there in going to AKB for Naachan's sake when Naachan isn't even there, when she might as well perform with her favourite 48 Group.

EDIT: I did actually just watch Cherprang's appearance at the NMB48 theatre. Back during the AKB48 Group Asia Festival, all of them were asked which group they want to work with, and Cherprang said NMB48 back then. At the theatre, she was asked who her oshimen was and she said Sayanee. The NMB48 members were like "ahhh but she's graduated" and Cherprang said her current oshi is Kojima Karin. She also looked incredibly happy performing Nagiichi with them.

 

Pop'n'Roll is reporting that Yukirin, Zukkii and Naru will appear in a special edition of 'UTAGE!' on 9/1 but gives no further info:

UNIDOL did a small survey to 183 female university students, asking
"Which Idol do you want to see on Kouhaku this year?"
AKB48 surprisingly got 20 votes and ranked 2nd !

Comment is talking about how Nemohamo and Motokare are making some buzzes with the skillful and agile dances and how they want to see AKB48 again on Kouhaku after missing last year's, with those skillful dance songs.

AKB is doing a new drama on their streaming service 'AKB Eizo'! The lead roles are Satomina and a comedian, and the story is about their bodies being switched.
