AKB48 Nagano Megumi just announced her graduation.

She'll concentrate on her University studies. No final activity date has yet been decided.

 

NGT48 2nd Gen member Furutate Aoi has announced graduation:

Hama Sayuna announced her graduation.

Her last activity will be the 04/30 concert.

It seems to me that there won't be a mass graduation at the concert but they will use it as their graduation performance. Instead, they will announce it one by one...

 

i don't think they'd let remi go yet. the rest, maybe, but if they're keeping one...

Well, officially the concert is meant to celebrate eitos before the Team goes on undetermined hiatus.
So the management can't use it as "mass graduation" event.
It would be a synonym of definite disbandment.

 

That's what happened in BNK48 when 1st generations' contracts end, they announced their graduation one by one...
With the graduation of Hama, Team K has only 14 members now. If half of the Eito girls graduated this year, AKB48 may have to disband Team 4 to have at least 16 members per team.

She said “If half of the Eito girls graduated this year”. Half of the current Eito girls is 14. If hypothetically 14 Eito girls graduate, even if the 10 17ki’s were promoted, these spots wouldn’t be filled.

 

Do teams need 16 members anymore? Stages have been 8 members for a hold while now and even with less covid restrictions they haven't gone back to 16.

Maybe they'll just stick with 8 member shows and have a smaller group?

 

Oh no. There are many KKS to be promoted.

Back in the beginning they used to debut a new gen every six months, so maybe they're going back to the group's roots.
