[GENERAL] The Nogizaka46 thread!

Congratulations to Ume for being promoted as Nogizakas new captain. Let the new generation Nogi be as glorious as the old!

A question that went through my head the last 2-3 days. Since the vice-captain position is now vacant, will there be a new vc, and who will it be?
Third Gen Kubo? Fourth Gen Tamura? (I remember some talking about Kaki as well) What about 5th Gen? I think Satsuki or Iroha would possibly make good captains in the future. Satsuki has center potential, so maybe Iroha would be a better choice? Not that this is a reason to say one should not be appointed such position (I mean Kaki was/is a center herself), but it could also be a good push for Iroha.

 

If they choose to have a vice captain, a 4th gen member is more likely. A 3rd gen is possible too, maybe a younger member. 5th gen has too little experience.

A suitable captain (or vice) should be fond of Nogizaka, caring towards other members, reliable, responsible and reasonably popular.
Ume is the perfect fit. Akimoto was another good fit.
Who is eligible now? Not sure.
Anyway, in case of need someone will pop out eventually. But there is no need for vice captain until Ume decides to graduate.

 

Vice cap should be at least 4 yr younger than ume and a senbatsu regular
So the likes of mayu cant be vice cap

Nxt vice cap should be Ayame, Renka , Satsuki etc

 

Nice point. Except the fact that Nogi 2nd captain is a year older than Nogi 1st captain.
And propably you should explain what's the role of this vice captain? Are they going to be a vice captain or your vice captain is always your next captain?

 

I think most fans see vice-captain as a successor role in that the member in that position would be expected to be the next captain. Imagine if Ume wasn't the next captain but another member. How awkward it would be for that member, Ume, and the group!

The vice captain does what the captain does but to a lesser extent. She's to learn the ropes so that in time, as captain, she will do well.

That being the case it would be best to get a member who can be captain for a while. Ume, is the 3rd eldest 3rd Gen, how much longer before she graduates? 3rd Gen is already 7 years in which seems to be the magic number for being an idol (Kashiwagi Yuuki notwithstanding). Who knows how long she wants to stay?

I hope that being given such an important role that it doesn't mean that they should stay beyond when they feel they're done being an idol.

Such a talented artist this stunning beauty is...! And so well made, I could tell each girl correctly from tiny details she incorporated in her drawings. Yuri and Rika are so bright, Mayu and Ayame made me melt and I particularly laughed with Miyu's NO and Nao's "shaa-"...!

 

If this vice captain is Nogi next captain then it's inapropriate to talk about it when the new captain just sit on her seat for less than a week.
