Single AKB48 62nd single [Idol Nanka Janakattara] - 2023/09/27

Just wanted to ask since its almost the release date. Are there any news if they'll hold a "send off/handwaving" event again, just like for the last single? Thank you.

It's dated 4/22 which was just 4 days ahead of the events so hopefully there'll be some news this weekend. I won't be in Japan this time but I'll try and watch for any info.

Yes, my mistake, wrong Hashimoto - however sadly Erichan won't be taking part in the Tsutaya event due to poor health:

According to an email from Limista this morning, Yuiri, Aichan, and Sorara are ill as well. So they won't be able to sign until a later date (payment deadline is still the same).

There'll be National Fan Meetings as follows:

• 11/23 Sendai
• 12/16 Sapporo
• 1/6 Osaka
• 1/21 Tokyo

All 16 senbatsu members will take part in each event and fans can apply for stage events or group photo sessions each with 2 or 3 members. There will also be an individual member HS event at each venue and AIUI there's no lottery for this, fans just need to turn up at the events with CD tickets although it'll be just one member per ticket.

Additionally there'll be a U-22 Senbatsu event on 11/5 at the Asakusa Hanayashiki amusement park in Tokyo where 100 winners can go on a 'field trip' with the members at the venue's attractions.

Wait.. just making sure I understood correctly. So you mean to say, the old school easy HS ticket from limited edition is back? Like I just have to buy a limited edition version, get the HS ticket inside, then go to the venue??

It seems like this would be the first AKB single wherein I'll buy all limited and regular edition types. I bought the regulars for the send-off event at Tsutaya.

It feels good though that this happens when I actually like the center ^_^

 

That's my understanding - I've posted below the original Japanese text as well as a translation using Google:

However unlike previous National HS events it's only one member per ticket, it used to be that one ticket would allow meeting a group of 3 or 4 members, or maybe 2 of the most popular. The only such event I ever attended was one for NMB48 in Tokyo in 2016 and the groups were all 3 members each except that Sayanee had a lane to herself. (I had to queue for 80 minutes just to meet her for a few seconds but it was worth it! )
