If you told me they released this song in 2015 I would believe you. Their sound really hasn’t evolved in like a decade. And Momusu used to have such diversity in their styles…but I guess that all died out
You have a point there. There was no significant sound/style in their music in the last few years, maybe due to the creative control by Tsunku-san ??? I'm just guessing here, so don't quote me on this.
Tsunku isn't there anymore so it's expected. I still like the songs H!P is putting out lately, some better than others, but you can tell the quality and uniqueness isn't the same as it was during the Tsunku era. Honestly, Morning Musume to me has been putting out the most generic and bland songs lately while Juice Juice, Tsubaki Factory and Ocha Norma have been producing far better songs
for the last years, MM songs were a Hit or Miss for me. Either you like it very much or hate it.... The best of songs were great and Wake up call is nice too. Finally they had more budget for the PV and the song lines are well splitted between the members. 17ki is Ako is my fav of the new gen
