And they're just the ones that management currently knows about. From just above the list of names comes this note:
*If there are members who have graduated or are on hiatus as of March 16, 2024, they will not be participating.

Am I the only one thinking that Pia MM Arena is too small for Yukirin? Capacity of Budokan is 14,000 and the Pia MM is even smaller with 12,000. Yukirin is the last big name AKB has, I don’t think any others graduation concert can attract more audiences than this. Even though AKB now can’t fill the Saitama Super Arena (capicity 37,000) anymore there are still Yokohama Arena (17,000) just a little bit but still bigger than Budokan.
People are talking that AKB is developing, that they are heading to back at Kohaku but the fact is looking at the concert choice, even it’s their biggest name’s graduation concert they didn’t dare to choose a bigger venue than usual and bonus they aren’t invited by Music Station for 2 consecutive single.

They even have big problems selling out Budokan concerts... but right, Yukirin deserves Tokyo Dome! Last Golden Era member. Thought at least Saitama Arena would be Safe for her graduation concert

Yeah I just want to point out that even it’s Yukirin graduation concert DH doesn't confident AKB can sell out bigger venue than Pia MM which show AKB situation now.
If people had known Yukirin would make the announcement today, it would have sold like hot cake.

They mean Hiichan and other girls who announced but not graduate yet.
Ignore it. Music Station is for Kpop deal now. AKB will hardly come back.

I feel like it's cuz they are also doing a spring concert the day after, so they have to pick a smaller venue cuz otherwise that spring concert will look empty. It would've been better if they did a completely separate and independent grad con for yukirin cuz yes I wish/feel she could get a bigger stage too!

We also have to take into consideration that maybe other venues are already booked.

I don’t think AKB would have a problem selling out SSA when newer groups like =LOVE and some H!P ones are able to. It’s the last Kami Graduation we’ll ever have, so it’s a bit sad that it’s at Pia.

Those scheduling conflicts… how are those girls getting booked for anything six months in advance???? Smells like sotsugyou spirit.

Setlist was excellent. Execution was well, poor. Everyone seemed really nervous for first day. But the feels though. 100%.

Mion and yukirin really put together a concert that captured the greatness of AKB48. concert was really enjoyable from the majisuka gakuen sequence going forward. I don't remember that janken costume on sahho at all.

This insistence on live singing, They really have to help the girls more though. Like the live mixing / autotune they did for mion during majijo teppen solo. If they can't do that for everyone then at least turn off kudo kasumis mic. 笑

Hulu cam and AKB48 really made sure to get Sora onscreen. Seiahun Philosophy featured the 13th gens but left Ayana in the second row. Yamada Kyouka seems to have a better position than Serika in team 8 songs.

Pia Arena MM is what Yukirin deserves.

Anyone saying Tokyo Dome needs a reality check. Don't be so delusional.

Official confirmation (with video) of the new Theater stage announced at today's Request Hour concert:
    https://twitter.com/AKB48_staff/status/1715690512148271186

It's a 16-member stage with the shonichi scheduled for 12/8. It's 7 years after 'Dedicated to MT' and it's produced by Aki-P.

Isn’t it the title of A7 and the new stage’s title is unknown yet.

my notes from Day 1 Concert:
    - the revival of subunit was brilliant but they ruined it with the song's duration less than 1 minute. it felt rushed. :fp:
    - Majijo speech was cringe. and only yuiri and kuranoo re-cast were perfect.
    - we don;t need Yasai Sisters
    - 47 no Suteki na Machi e, it's been a while :)
    - Ice no Kuchizuke, some spotlight for Yukarun:cry2:
    - the magic trick was a mess
    - Takamina appeared and the concert become lively. the young members need to working really hard to liven up the atmosphere.
    - Yukirin graduation. the timing is perfect. Now we can say AKB is truly heading into a new era.

Curiously enough, I thought the exact opposite. I thought this was one of the highlights of the concert haha.
I absolutely loved the setlist as a whole, though. Great concert.

Today's setlist however... very questionable. J-wotas seem to have a very different taste from mine :^^;: but hey, I still like to see the girls perform. Curious as to what the setlist will look like tomorrow.

I agree, that day 1 didn't really get going until the majisuka revival, and i also thought the theater setlist to be very underwhelming, I was able to call a few songs but had several near misses. i chose rio no kakumi (A2) and Namida shounan was selected. I had J/K nemurihime (A5) and kimi ni au tabi koi wo suru was selected. I had hissatsu teleport (B3) and futari nori jitensha was selected instead. i was surprised by the amount songs from juuryouku sympathy. in the end, i think fans are still voting for graduated oshis. Serika did a great job with oteage lullaby (she owns that song imo) did fans really think sit-down tv personality takamina was going to come back for that song?? or is it a sign of fans recognition of serika's hard work ?

maeda/arai sae was preparing for that 1 song all year . now she can focus on her other jobs
