I just watched all the performances of this song (before that, I only saw the first one >.< I wanted to see them all in good quality so I end up only seeing them now lol). They had 6 other performances after that. I really enjoyed watching this! I love the song and their outfits and everything. My favorite part is the bridge part, I love how it sounds and their dance there, and especially Yuiyui (I mean I'm mostly looking at her XD) she looks so cool ;w; Honestly she is so perfect in every performance from beginning until the end. I'm so happy she centered this and after seeing how much she's shining as the center, I want her to center again and again ;w; She's just a perfect idol.

My favorite performances were the one on "All Night Fujiko" and the one on "Premium MelodiX!". I liked the backgrounds, it looked good! ^^ I also enjoyed the whole talking part before their performance on "Premium MelodiX!", it was fun and interesting! and Erii was the funniest when she explained how she dries her hair lol

I paid attention to who was picked as under for the performances so I'll share it here: Kururun (3 times), Mizumin, Ayamin, Serika, Yukinee. Actually the performance that had Serika and Yukinee (and Kururun as well) was the one on "The MusiQuest 2023" which was more like an event/concert rather than a TV show like the other ones, so it's a bit different but yes...

Azu finally sold out, the solo performance really help.
Seichan, Komiharu and Yumemin are the only three who haven't sold out any slots.

With 3 senbatsu spots opened, Manaka will definitely be back, finger-cross for Mizumin and Yunachan.

Congrats Azu for the sold out slot! Yes, now it's only Yumemi who didn't sell yet. I really hope she does ;_; She's such a nice girl, pretty, cute and always happy! I wish she can get more popular. (btw I posted a translation of her 100 Q&A on her thread today, it's a good read, check it here and please support her )

So next single we have at least 3 free spots, maybe 4 (depending if the next single is a Yukirin graduation single or if they don't make one and the next single is after her graduation). I definitely think Manaka should go back to senbatsu... I would give one of the other free spots to Remi (it can't be Hiyuka for now because she won't be in Tokyo yet T_T) and the other to 18th gen who really need someone in senbatsu. By the time we have next single, they'll be in the group for almost a year (management didn't wait at all for 17th gen so yes). if we pick based on HS sales and some other factors, it will probably be Yuna. and if we do get a 4th free spot, then another 18th gen or 17th gen... I also think Mizumin really deserves a chance... and there's also Yukinee, I really think she should be back to senbatsu considering her popularity online and her looks.

I also hope that for next single, since they'll be down to like 46 members (and maybe less since there are still 2 members who will most likely announce graduation), I really hope that all members will get to be in one MV at least. For this single, they had a total of 3 MVs, with around 60+ members, and some girls weren't in any MV (some were in 2 MVs, it's because some KKS were in senbatsu/U-22 and in the KKS MV, which is not a bad thing because it's good to invest in these girls). with 46 members, and if they have 3 MVs again, it would be more than enough for all members to be in at least one MV, even 2 for some. I hope all of the girls who end up staying in the group can actually get the minimum of activities that an idol should get. (I'm thinking of members like Harupyon, the last time she was in a MV was in early 2018 which will be soon 6 years ago... she also didn't get to be in a lot of songs in her 10 years ._.)

 

What are some of the other factors? How old is she?

Just wondering cause Eriko was the best seller of 17ki quite early on and it still took a while until she was given a senbatsu spot

 

Yuna is 17, turning 18 on December 12th (so she will be 18 by the time they release the next single).

The other factors, from what I know:

- She centered Tadaima Renaichuu when 18ki performed it on their own.
- She got a TV job in the summer, she was in the "Ima Doki" corner (Mezamashi TV) that Yuiyui usually does, I think this was part of some festival promotion. it was short but yes!
- For the "Do the dance" KKS MV, she had the 2nd position after Aichan (and quite a lot of MV parts).
- She was recently on that DX video on YouTube with Odaeri and Maho, they usually have senbatsu girls in this (though Manaka was in it once, but she also needs to get back in senbatsu anyway lol). This might not be a big deal on its own but the fact that management picks her feels like she's high on their priority list for push.
- She centered a song in the AKB concert recently (actually, she centered two, but the other one was something she won through the lottery).
- She was also picked to center "Idol Nanka Janakattara" when the KKS performed it at the theater.

There might be some others things that I forgot... but yes, it's mostly because of the HS sales though lol. and actually, there are other 18th gens who also get a lot of opportunities, Sae centering a b-side and getting an acting job, Hinano with the acting works (the AKB movie and a drama appearance), Azu also got to double center a KKS song and her solo performance received attention (at the concert). But yeah, the reason I think Yuna has the most chances is because I think management is trying to divide the push between the girls, and I guess for senbatsu, they might just go with the one who's selling the best in HS.

 

Akiyama seems to be the most popular and they've been pushing her lately. But then again, they might also pull an Aichan with Sae.
