I think, this time they would go for a 16 members senbatsu. I'm still hoping, Matsuno Mio or Uno Mizuki would get a senbatsu placement, but it appears more realistically to me, that Aobara Yuka will be the next member entering.
For center position they will pick Mikana for sure. If they would drop someone, then it is probably Wada Miyu or Hirayama Mai.

 

I really hope management will finally give the center position for this single to Sakata Misaki !

 

^ I agree! I really think it's time for this kind of change in NMB and I think Michapii would be a great center However, after seeing the current Team BII and the positions being Keito > Michapii, I predict that if we do get new centers, it might be a double center with these two members. I don't mind this either! (even though yes, I do want a Michapii solo center haha)

I also really hope this senbatsu can have more new gens. NMB had a new banner yesterday that had 12 members including Makochi, Ayapyon and Reipon. I hope that it's a sign that they will join the new senbatsu... They really need more new gens in the senbatsu. I also wish to see Yukatan in senbatsu but it might be a bit early haha. it will already be a big step if they do add those 3 members for now, them along with Michapii will make it a total of 4 members of 8th/9th gen in senbatsu! Hopefully!

 

Screaming for a Sakatan-Keito Wcenter.
I don’t feel management will give solo center to any of them, if they became center, it will be a WCenter first.
Another Mikana solo center is totally fine.
My senbatsu prediction (16 members):
Kojirin, Chihii, Rei, Mikana, Keito, Sakatan, Zion, Wakana, Shinshin, Karen, Sumino, Maity, Deguchi, Reipon, Makochi, Ayapyon
Potential senbatsu members not included: Wada Miyuu, Ayano, Aobara sisters, Tanaka Yukino, Yuumi

 

12 out of 16 (?) spots already closed.
I hope 4 other spots for: Manami, Honoka, Yukino and Zion
About center: Mikana or new face. Hope center is not Keito Kami-sama onegai

 

If I think about it, Kojirin performed really well during last Nambattle election. It feels kind of unfair not to give her a center position...
(Even if I would prefer a Sakatan center single or a Keito/Sakatan Wcenter)

 

She will get one for her own, maybe when she graduates? Just like Nagisa I don't think she will take the spotlight from new generation. She's the general captain after all, the group is prioritized over herself.

 

I did think Kojirin should have been center, but around 2022... She is the captain, she's popular, and a good performer, it would be nice if she had a center single, but now I think the right timing is gone... The problem is that there are not enough releases. Other 48 groups also have this problem. Now if they give a center to Kojirin, it's going to take 6 months again before we can see a new gen or younger member as center. By then, there will be 10th gen already too, and the list of members who "should" get a center will only keep getting longer. I guess they can give other things to Kojirin, for example she got a solo song on NMB's album last year. (Personally, I think they shouldn't have done a grad single for the previous single exactly because of this reason... not enough releases and too many members who need to center for the sake of the group's present and future)

I think, they would be going for a double push, such as Sakatan x Keito, even tho those two members have completely oppposite auras.

Seriously, I don't think, they look great together. Also, it would come across, as if they just imitated HKT48's last idea. Also it is difficult to keep up with former Wcenters, as Aayan threw up the bar

It feels unfair,that Kojirin couldn't center Done. Not only did Mikana's dance moves look cramped compared to Kojirin's free & energetic movements, also Kojirin's shorts, long legs & height fitted the song better.

They could, but I don't think they would. She looks very cute, almost as cute & attractive as Yuzu did, but only almost. What we know about NMB48, is, that the management dislike cute & attractive members (Yuzu, Uno Mizuki, Ijiri Anna, Nishizawa Rurina), or those who stood out. (Kinoshita). Management prefers curvy girls, who radiate imperfections, such as Azuma Yuki, Kato Yuuka, Kusaka Konomi, Hayashi Momoka or Kushiro Rina. The most current example is Aobara Waka.

Is there any news or even rumors about new single?
It's the begining of March, how can they release new single in spring if they haven't started preparing yet?

Well even with this time span... ah it really is nerve-wracking. I mean they had mostly graduation singles the last years. Finger cross for some fresh blood / center single.
Koi to Ai was so good! I want something like that again

 

Spring equinox March 19-20 is also a national holiday. I would expect something in a few weeks but not sooner
