why the song "AKB48" is named same as their group name AKB48?
is any special meaning inside of that song?

 

^ Well, Iron Maiden do have a song called "Iron Maiden" too! It's their theme song, I guess. I don't speak Japanese but from words that I catch here and there it's talking about Akihabara, their concert theatre etc but I'm sure there should be more qualified replies to this question!

Has anyone bought / seen Honegumi's DVD ? From what I read (in Japanese, again - bummer) there are at least 5 "making of" parts in there! Well, does it include a PV, or what else?

I don't have DVD but have DVD-rip.
And it contains 5 (or 4? I forgot) diferent PVs and making.

 

i know that a few of the girls just graduated recently, and one of them is Shiho. My question is, do the AKB girls get some sort of graduation ceremony/recognition, as do the MM girls of Hello Project?
Maybe if they do, it is not so decked out, fancy/big like MM's.

 

Shiho hasn't graduated yet!

They don't really get a special ceremony. They get presented with flowers and all the girls give them messages and such, but it's not really to the scale of H!P graduations.

Are the single versions of Sakura no Hanabiratachi and Skirt Hirari and their b-sides the same as the ones on Team A's 1st Stage album? I ask because according to the wiki, only Team A existed and sang on those singles. I know three members graduated between the single releases and the album, but I don't hear any difference between the single and album versions. Just wondering if there was. ^^;

 

I think they used the same recording source for both single and album.

 

I can't see it happening, as it was never part of a stage. There is a rip of Ganbare though, I'll upload it for you as soon as you get into the depot.

i was watching the A1 concert, not sure if Mariko was in that performance, i'll have to rewatch it again. When did Mariko join up, and how long did she work in the cafe before becoming an AKB'er?
