Went for my first ever G-rosso show today.
Thoughts: The Iiwake Maybe PV was more exciting than the entire show. And seeing Sasshi close up during the miokuri

SND48 was a mindblowing experience.

Onto the girls, god I hate the profile pictures they have on the SDN48 website.
IT TOTALLY DO NOT DO THE GIRLS JUSTICE. SRSLYWTF.

For now, I am really loving Mamitan and Ume-chan.
Sadly, it seems that they are the more/most popular members. Lol damn.
But Mamitan is really really adorable. She looks like UETTI WHEN SHE SMILES KJSDHK DS SK /GUSHES
And Ume-chan is practically a TOMOCHIN CLONE
Lol, don't bother to look at her profile picture on the official site, that is absolute lies.


And, maybe it was in a good way, ALL the AKB48 girls were out today.
So this was my very first time since my first B1 show that I am watching a show without knowing ANYONE on stage. Nachu's exception but she don't really count. Lol.
You go look up how Nachu look like on SDN's website and tell me how can I not know her before watching the show.


Anyway, it was a really refreshing experience.


But they were far from what I would call an idol.
They are so much more than that, so much that I felt calling them an idol, would not be doing them justice.
Not yet "artistes" but more like "performers"

Like what Hiro@Vegas was saying, if we threw the AKB48 girls through the SDN's audtion, less than 10% of the girls would make it.

With SDN48, it's like... granted, definitely some are not half as cute as AKB48, but they make up with QUALITY performances.

Quite a handful of them had some CRAZY VOCALS.
Like my hair REALLY stood hearing them belt the notes.

Also, most of them had really sharp moves and amongst them, you could tell that there a obvious few who were stunningly outstanding. Ume-chan was one of them and there were a few others but I have yet to remember their names ;_;

And most importantly, you could REALLY feel their determination.
That they are really depending their entire future and life on this stage.
Has been ages since I felt that from some of the girls in AKB48, and some, I've just simply never felt that from them before. Ever.

Every girl in SDN48, deserved EVERY applause they got from the room at the end of every night.
I hope they would really make it somewhere, someday.

Wow... the lyrics are... Wow The moves you described are an even bigger WOW . From what you and Hiro have described about the girls I would kill to watch them perform, not just because it's an adult show, but just to watch good, if not great, performances from them. We reeeeaaally need an LOD of this!

BTW, is there a good number of female fans, besides you and Maimai , watching SDN?

As some of you may already know i had my first AKB experience yesterday at the noon and evening concert. And as all of you know there was this announcement which send all attending fans into a state of shock at the end of the evening show....so i will post about my first experience of a live AKB show but pls give me some time to get over this shocking news before i will post about what should have become my greatest day as an AKB48 fan.

 

I guess I should write a review, too, of the Sunday 23rd afternoon and evening concert, but I really cant think of much..... ><
