heartbreaking for her fans in general and on the forum, but in her career on being an actress, it could do her some good. We can't expect them to stay forever, what is long, say...3 years..? they only started AKB in..what Oct 05? what i question is, did acchan stop going to the events to focus on tv/CM, acting and other areas because she was getting less attention and fans at these handshaking events? or did Acchan just decide to focus on other areas, and as a result, her popularity dwindled at some of these events? Or is it just a mutually exclusive thing here..ok, nevermind overanalyzing it.
^ I don't think we'll ever know details, but presumably she goes to less events because she's busy elsewhere. She's hugely popular, it doesn't make sense not to put her in something if she's available. On a side note, yay for finally getting some actual discussion in here Beats all the usual "she's so cute!!" comments
I think she stop going to events because she have alot of other works to do like the movie she is staring and the tv programs but I don't know if she is the one to decide to not go to the events or are her manger and producers This discussion was goood I actualized this page a several times just to see what are going to happening 〜(^∇^〜)(〜^∇^)〜
yeah, an intellectual discussion here, works the mind...too bad it too some crazy otaku to diss mai mai and acchan in making them cry to stir things up...but sometimes controversy, upsetting events such as this stir things up, despite how negative it sounds. I would think that each girl has their own agency/manager to represent them, and make some decisions for them. I wonder if they are individually managed from a agents point of view. As the case with Acchan, it would be her representative that would speak and act on her behalf. I just hope Acchan is happy as a result of anything that comes out of this. We as fans, will and always continue to support our girls, our favorites, and even ones we barely know of in AKB48.
Yes, thats a very good point, the fans surely doesn't want this to happen too, cause being an actress doesn't promise she'll get more famous. It will be great if she vould continues and balances her job as actress and as an idol
On the management side, I really don't believe Acchan has a choice in whether or not she can go to an event. Most of that stuff is managed by other people, and her schedule.
So all of the AKB girls schedule is managed by other, let say could acchan add or reduce one of her schedule?? Could the girls do something like that?
It doesn't really work like that. The girls all have managers who sort out their schedules, they can't really pick and choose shows or events that they want to go to. That's decided by other people. They all used to be managed in house I believe, but they've since started moving a lot of the (more popular) girls to other agencies.
Maybe the management feels that there should be a rotation to take place. You know, to give the other girls a chance to be the front performer. Maeda had been in front role for quite some time. And I think its fair to give the other girls a chance too. So that AKB isnt so Maeda-centric. Masuyama, Oku and Ono are the youngest of the group. They have potential to shine in the future.
oh, so its like that, so basically idosl in japan must have agencies that manages their schedule otherwise they won't survive in showbiz but it's okay for me if AKB is maeda-centric
Ii think is different H!P are manage by UP FRONT agencies some of AKB girls are not manage by only one agency tomochin tomo~mi-chan Maimai - Horipro(In my opinion the best agency) haruna takahashi mii-chna- Ogi Production a-chan korisu erena- Ohta Production Masuyama Kayano - Parfit Production
ah..i see.. so, do the girls have a say in what agency they wish to be in, for example, Acchan being in the Ohta Production, if she was not happy in it, could she wish to leave it for say..Horipro? I suppose they just sign up some of the girls for certain productions, and promote each girl individually by group...?
The girls cannot move freely to other agencies which they wish to go. Office48 had the girl's management right at first and now is selling the right to agencies. The process is: 1. Agency gives an offer (for example, we want Acchan) to Office48. 2. Management agreement is made between Office48 and agency. 3. The management right is shifted from Office48 to agency. Office 48 may listen to the girls' request, but basically the girls cannot choose where to go.
I hope moving to a personal agency means more money. I'm going to miss Atsuko if she leaves AKB48, but AKB48 is not the best for an actress or singer. She needs to move where she has more freedom to grow in show bussiness. She seems to be very talented. I love you Atsuko wherever you go. I'll do my best to follow your career.
Well at least they could say whats on their mind, what's the advantage of having different agencies?? Isn't just gonna make things complicated, like when there's a schedule overlapping of some girls? And another thing is the girls should have a very good stamina, imaging doing concert on weekend while on weekdays doing other events.. wow sugoi..
The advantage of having the girls with different agencies is that they now have more time to focus on other things. I don't imagine managing every single one of those girls in house is a pleasant thing to do...
