The dance is probably one of the most elaborate and complicate I have ever see them made. And the most "movie" scenes are well made, they are fantastic actress. Takamina looks beautiful.

Don't know why people say it's a disappointment, to me, it's looking great so far. But then again, I guess my final judgement will come when I do see the full PV. For now, I'm still lovin' it

I may buy it afterwards but it will obviously depend on the songs (PVs). ^^

I like the song, but the chant is going to get old real fast (if it came up randomly when I'm driving or something I'd just hit 'skip' so I don't have to sit through it...). I'm pretty sure if I heard LIVER in it one more time I would've screamed. The PV is cool with the girls dancing, but the river bits are a bit lame... and the footage of the Chinook landing is just awful, it's so uncinematic (the way the camera follows it makes it look like a tourist is filming it ). But the jumping out of the truck is good. I wonder if the whole military thing is serious or comedy. Like, there will be a payoff at the end where they get to their objective and start eating cake (like Buono's "My Boy" PV). But of course who cares, I have to buy it so I can vote for Shibuya '10 anyway, they could be sitting on chairs doing their nails for 4 minutes and it'd still sell like hotcakes :roll:

It seems so out of place, it doesn't sound good (if it was good rap, it'd be an entirely different story) and the dance which is more complex than the ones we've seen so far, which is a good thing, is wasted on it. Oh wait, also way too much Jurina and too little Mayuyu. Acchan/Harunyan/Takamina look great in the closeups though, with emphasis on Acchan.

I don't actually have a problem with the chant, I think it's kinda cool, actually, it's just... unfortunate that they picked RIVER to shout over and over again. Anyway, hopefully just a little while longer 'til the full thing is out!

XD River is what I've been asking for for over a year, but also TOTALLY different from what I was expecting. Thanks, Akimoto. I don't hear "liver" at all.
Re: [SINGLE] AKB48 - [RIVER] - 2009/10/21 I love the chant and military theme and I'm looking forward to the full version. Ever since listening to Idol no Yoake, I've wanted more military-themed marching band type stuff and RIVER meets my expectations and then some. The PV is going to be my favourite one so far, I am pretty sure. I love seeing cute things mixed with things that wouldn't be cute otherwise. I honestly can't think of anything better than idols in military uniforms. For proof of this, see my avatar.
