Ono Erena will officially graduate AKB48 on 9/27

It was announced last night that Ono Erena will graduate AKB48 at the 9/27 Team K performance. In October, Erepyon will be temporarily going overseas to decide schools and find a place to stay, but will appear at an event for "Sankaku" in November. There is plans for a graduation photobook and DVD to be released.

Takajo Aki 1st Image DVD Release

Team A's Takajo Aki will be releasing her 1st Image DVD, "Akicha to Kaero~", on October 29! It will be sold only at at convenience stores. It will be sold in a regular version (1990yen) as well as limited edition A - including a bonus disc and event ticket - and limited edition B - including a bonus disc and postcard set (both 3990yen). The limited editions will be in a special 315mm x 315mm case.

AKB48 x Hikari TV

AKB48 and television video distributon service Hikari TV have teamed up. AKB's new single Beginner is the tie-up song for the CM, which will be played from 10/21. Hikari TV will distribute HD theatre performances, episodes of Shukan AKB, and also the upcoming Tokyo Aki Matsuri concerts in 3D.

(*) Sano Yuriko and Iwasaki Hitomi did not pass the kenkyuusei selection, and so are out of the group.
(*) Chen Qu is chosen to replace Fukuyama Sakura in SDN48 senbatsu. Togasaki also stated that it's not certain that Sakuran will be permanently gone.
(*) Special AKB48 x Seven Eleven Collaboration Christmas Cake on Preorder
(*) AKB48 performed Heavy Rotation and Beginner at yesterday's Music Japan recording. The Heavy Rotation performance will be on the show 10/10. Fujie and Nito took the positions of W Matsui in "Beginner".
