Anyways, Tomo~mi had another chiyuu-sensei ustream/nico douga live stream this morning and dddaammnnn, she looked incredibly cute w/ the hat she was sporting! Some quick caps I took throughout the broadcast to forever remember the moment (LOL):

This one has always bugged me: How do you pronounce "Tomo-omi" (her nickname)? From what I've heard, it sounds exactly like her name "Tomomi", but looking at how it's written, I was expecting an extra "O" from the last syllable but I never hear it.

^ It is just her name, it's just written out as Tomo~mi, so you could essentially just say the 2nd o longer, but the nickname is mostly used for writing as far as I know XD

I thought people called Itano just "Tomo" as well which makes it a little confusing.

If they're the only Tomomi in the room, they all get called Tomo... but if there's more than one, they're usually pretty specific.

That's her first name.

I've seen people mainly use Kasai or Tomo~mi. I call all Tomomis by their last names, otherwise it gets really confusing.

errata : ... Maeda?... I do remember a Shogi game with Yuko and.... and... and KASAI!!!... wow!.. that Kasai asked something about if Yuko was happy being the only Oshima (after MaiMai left) in the group... and she (Yuko) explained later being called "Oshima!!!", "Yeah!, what?... or it wasn't to me...".

i used to call her tomo~mi, but chiyuu was easier to say lol and probably better to differentiate name calls for the girls...
