Holy sh*t! I was wondering where Natsu-sensei had disappeared to after 2007. Probably terrorizing more young aspiring idols or middle-aged entertainers....
I've loved Riho since seeing her audition footage, but those pictures are evening the ranks a bit. How can they all be so adorable?
^IKR. By watching only the audition footage, I liked Riho. But after seeing the kyukkies on Bijo Gaku and seeing their pictures, I've changed my fav from the kyukkies to Eripon . Lol
Nope they still do handshake event, I think it's mostly for thier fan meetings. Here's a video of one:
Yes, thank you!!! However, it seems to me that they began doing handshackes not long ago (when the 'idols you can meet' concept appeared), although perhaps I'm wrong... [notme]
If you count there first singles sales process as 'Idols you can meet' then they did it from the first get-go on. In 1998 there challenge was to sell 50.000 copies of there first CD in I think 5? days otheriwse MM would not continue. There was a big event in a stadium for the last set of CD's being sold. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morning_Musume
Yes, that's how they began but that was something different because they needed to be known. When I speak about handshakes I mean a famous group that 'humbles itself' (no disrespect here) to allow a huge amount of fans meet them. It's quite normal that writers do handshakes and sign books to their fans (and to anyone willing to)...but that's not habitual with singers or actors...fortunately AKB48 is quite easy to meet (at least for the people in Japan)... AWESOME SONG IS AWESOME. I'm so excited! I haven't looked forward to a MM release for a long time now, but 9th gen is so amazing!!!
Mmm, I prefer to wait until the full song and the PV are released...though it doesn't sound bad... [think]
Not feeling the song yet, but once the PV is released I may change my mind..like with Kiss me ashiteru^^
