I don't really care so much about that actually. Solo Yuka magazine shoot is already win!

Maybe because Yuka is seeing as a singer and not as a pretty AKB member or a loli looking member ....

What worries me is that she was mentioned specifically in the article..and not in a good way either :\

Now, I take whatever's written on tokyohive with a pinch of salt, nor have I read the original article, but the fact is that Yuka is mentioned.

oh god reading that really worried me.

Even with a low ranking I hope they consider how much Yuka contributes to the group. They have not given her that much chance to shine yet so kicking her out just like that would be a huge waste of talent. [flip]

That would suck. Yuka has a nice voice.

Edit: I'm still worried for Yuko, Sayaka, and Umechan because they are among the oldest in the group (other than Mariko and Haruna) and could very well be considered in the "ready to graduate" group

In the chat, our resident spy told us that no one would get fired.

They would instead get demoted or promoted between the regular team and the undergirls team.
Depending on their motivation, performances, etc, etc.

Haven't looked at the japanese articles yet.
But if Tokyohive got similar journalistic quality to it's Kpop sister, I'm not only gonna take what they write with a grain of salt. I'll add a shipping container with salt.

As was also said in chat, we will know more @ Yokohama.
So untill then I'm not gonna worry too much.

Hmm, I think people in this thread are a little behind. TGSK wrote a reply on the official AKB blog a couple of days ago to address the rumors. No one's getting fired, but it seems there will be some form of a new member system for theater performances, meant to make it so they can get back to doing more of them.

Anyway, we know very little right now, and most of it's speculation. It's pointless to waste energy worrying about something that you have no control over, so just wait for Yokohama.

Oh and I hate tokyohive btw. Like allkpop, they'll post anything if it causes a stir.

worrying about this whole thing is just derp until Yokohama comes for real anyway, so let's just stay positive and hope for the best for our awesome Takoyaki.

I read the whole manga right after it was announced.
And Yuka's character only plays a minor role in the manga.
So I didn't expect her to get a lot of screentime.

But Leona rocks, so hope we get to see a bit more from her.
At least more then that one softball scene we see in the trailer.
