i saw the latest '07 MM calendar at my Kinokuniya, the calendar was not bad, and had linlin, JunJun in it, of course. It was nice, but i have so many other calendars this year, and i am not as much into MM thesedays, but still love Ai-chan!
Sounded super average at first, but I've fallen in love with the chorus (probably because I've been listening to Eri's mic recording )
^Lol. Yes, I also think the song sounds avarange at first, but think it picks up in the chorus. I find it catchy and happy. Think that in time I'll be able to love this song a lot.

Now I'm looking foreward to: - A better quality version of the song. (radio rip maybe) - The PV (though I tend to get dissapointed about MM pvs) - The Covers (this time I don't have to be annoyed about which is better, because I pre-ordered all 3 versions ) - The dance routine. (in preformance and PV) - The outfits (please no yellow feathers this time!) - To see Junjun in the PV (doesn't seem like she really got any lines, so they better give her screen-time, and more than Onna ni Sachi Are)
Oh man, I love Mikan. SO MUCH. It's been stuck in my head for the past two days--the "you get a chance" & the chorus with the drums are my favorite parts. I'm so excited, it's ridiculous. I'm really happy that I preordered it~ (or rather, I'm happy I was feeling so compulsive on the day I noticed it was up to preorder, haha.) &looking forward to the same things as Milaya, although add "Sayu" and "Eri" to the Junjun note. :3

And then i just hoped it wouldn't be another song like Aruiteru.. I love this song soo much! Think it's been some time since I've loved a MM song that much (think the last time was when I heard previews of Genki+) when I heard previews of Kanashimi Twilight and Onna ni Sachi Are, I thought they were good. Mikan I think is great! Can't wait to get my 3 copies.

i don't know what's wrong with Mikan. i thought i'm gonna like it like previous single but Mikan sounds something which i don't like.
I don't want to comment on the song yet, since the 'previews' are terrible, so I think I'll just wait for a decent radio preview to be released.
For me it seems like the singles get better and better (Here I mean the releases after the 8th generation has been added) 1. Mikan Good things about this single: I just love this song. The chorus is a total WIN! I'm not sure why, but I just love this song. It's been a long time since I loved a MM song like this. Bad things about this single: Maybe I won't find this song as good, when I get to hear a better quality clip. I actually liked Aruiteru when i heard the fan recording previews, then i heard the studio versions, and now it's one of my least liked songs. 2. Onna ni Sachi Are Good things about this single: The songs is catchy, I'm one of those who's okay with the "baka ne" And I think this single has the best B-side. Bad things about this single: The PV outfits! *get chills over the yellow feathers* and the lines was very uneven, too much Takahashi. 3. Kanashimi Twilight Good things about this single: This is a nice and powerfull song. The outfits was great, everyone looked amazing. And I think the lines were a bit more even, than some other songs. Bad things about this single: Now where Yossie is gone and Takahashi got her lines. It's not the same anymore, Yossie owned this song. This song I think had the most boring PV. And after some time I find the "Nanka nanka and kitto kitto" a bit annoying. 4. Egao YES Nude! Good things about this single: This song is catchy with the whole "Lovely, lovely" Bad things about this single: I think this single has the weakest dance routine. And I think this song gets boring easy. I think this single had the B-side I liked the least.
Some personal rankings: Musume: 1. Reina. My idol. Loved her since her first audition. 2. Gakisan. I love her reactions and outgoingness 3. Kamei. Weird and cute. Can pull off an evil face very well. 4. Micchi. Pure energy. Been a fan since her audition. 5. Junjun. Za new badass. Won't be a yankii, though. 6. Airin. Has a beautiful presence on stage. 7. Sayu. Spacey face good dancer, too. 8. Linlin. She makes me laugh. (huuuuuge gap) 9. Koharu. I don't wanna post anything mean, so I won't comment on her. Supporting 8 girls in the big group of H!P is quite expensive -_- 2007 Singles: 1. Kanashimi Twilight 2. Mikan (and it hasn't been released yet) 3. Egao Yes Nude 4. Onna ni Sachi Are Songs-wise, I think 2007 is one of the best years for MM.
