Potential-wise, definitely YM7. Like most people have said, it has the more popular girls who've been around for a while or two. Veterans, Warota's, ex-populars, and the recent populars. As for YJ7...A veteran, ex-populars, Warota's, NEWBIE fp and an omg-wtf-is-with-this-huge-as-push Yui. Unless the team also gets pushed like crazy, it'll lose. Deciding on which team's music to support doesn't really matter for me, I like SONGS based on how it sounds. Not the members. I like a TEAM, based on the members. Therefore I can like a team, but not their music. Oh did I forget to mention OMG KASAI IS IN YM7!!!??
So does Horipro have a problem with splitting up their girls or something? Kasai, Myao, and Su-chan on the same team is cool I guess. Too hard to choose, cause Ranran is awesome and I always have a soft spot for Kitahara. I'm just gonna hope the songs are good like enkyori and choose me.
Well, putting them on different teams would mean twice the work, because you'd have to push both teams then...
I really hope these groups make songs that show up on singles, since there are a bunch of kenkyuusei The names remind me of Watarirouka Hashiritai 7 xD That said, I've gotta support YJ7, although it seems to be much more even than with PBxYJ. For me the big hitters are: YJ7 [Fresh Lemon, Aichan, Amina, and Kitarie] YM7 [Komorin, Takeuchi, Myao, and Sashihara] Uh yeah...more than half of each team...I like too many members [sweat]
Miichan VS Myao... Such hard decision for me... Any team i will choose,but I think YM7 will win anyway!!! (But really i want someone to prove me wrong)
My first feeling was to vote for YM7, but in the end I've got to root for Ranran. They're both great lineups though, member-wise I won't care who wins. Can't wait for the songs!

Thanks for the explanation. One more reason for me to get around to listening to more AKB48 singles I suppose. Choosing YJ7 just because of Miichan (and besides Rie, I have no idea who the other girls are).
I first saw Team YM7 and saw Miyumiyu. I thought to myself that it would be nice if Ranran was in this team. Now I know that there is also Team YJ7 with Ranran!! This is as tough as last time for me as Ranran, Aichan and Miichan will battle with Sasshi, Myao and Akicha. I'm kind of leaning toward YM7 but I hope I can see more Ranran. I also would like to confirm that Ranran is truly awesome.
As much as I love the girls in YM7 (half of the girls I like are in it) I prefer YJ7, they're so cute and Miichan's in it (Miichan's always WIN!)

In a heartbeat, its YJ7 for me.I can't stand Sashihara and still not liking Kasai. It's only Sumire that can pull me towards YM7 but not enough. I think I'm in the minority of S48 in preferring Enkyori Poster over Choose Me (at least I'm align with the Japanese fans, hehehe). I can listen to EP's upbeat tune over and over again but in the case of Choose Me, more than once in a day is non-negotiable. Goodluck to Minegishi and her team!
YM7 for me got lots of members I like =(Sasshi, Sumire, Komori, akiha) plus Miyumiyu, the cutestest of the new girls!!!
Obvious choice would be YJ7 because it has rabutan~~~ and amina but YM7 has myao meh overall i like YJ7 XD rabutan for the win ~~
