    lol didnt know wat was the fuss with eguchi aimi before this, but this sounds interesting.
    i wonder what's the point of spending so much time and money on one cm and publicity which obviously only akb fans care about..
    and if she's real, wat's the point of pushing her so much even before she comes on stage? so akb48 is now mainly media advertising? no way. the theater will always be the real stage.

    ^Akimoto said at the beginning that AKB48 was meant to be a stepping stone in to the entertainment industry, and having your name out there means that you're going to have a big step ahead of everyone else when you graduate and move onto bigger things.

    And about the theater, that's kind of laughable (as depressing as it sounds). It took a complete restructure of the way stage shows work for someone other than kks to perform in the theater, so saying that the theater is the main stage just doesn't make any sense.

    Plus with ayarin's slip-up and akip's article i think it's safe to say she's not a real person, unless this is a VERY well planned publicity stunt or something.

    They get mentioned on that site a bit, but that's definitely the longest one I've seen yet. Would not surprise e if it makes CNN or USA Today at some point.

    I hate it when people don't do their research and write things in these articles that aren't quite correct. This is the second one I've seen that makes it sound like ALL the AKB singles senbatsu are determined by fan voting, and it also says that there are 48 girls in AKB when we know there are a lot more now.

    Also the claim "while one team performs its home theater, another is free to appear on a TV show", because it doesn't really work that way. Finally, they said Arashi has "a" TV show when they actually have 3 TV shows.

    Seriously, get your facts straight.

    If you guys wanna make more of an impact, perhaps you can try posting your comments directly onto the WSJ blog. I know some people already have.

    Just be sure to follow their guidelines for posting comments. Whatever they may be.

    If anything it's saying the opposite? o_O From how I understood it Aki P is basically saying "You've done nothing wrong gurl, just keep on truckin' and doin' you." So really, it seems more like that he's completely chill.

    I was in Kinokuniya yesterday and I almost bought the Playboy magazine featuring Aimi, but I decided not to. My money was better spent on 3 AKB photoboks instead :awesome:
