    I was watching this clip from a recent theater MC and Ricchan said she didn't know how to read analog clocks until recently. @6:30:

    So I made a search for "時計" and "読めない" on memolist to see if they were joking and it seems like they weren't. But I also found a theater MC from 2006 where Akimoto Sayaka said she couldn't read analog clocks either (at least back then). They can both read digital of course. I don't know how surprised I'm supposed to be. I guess people are being exposed less and less to analog so maybe it's disappearing from common knowledge. Times are literally changing.

    ^ I used to go to school with a girl who couldn't read them as well. She revealed this back in 7th grade, and we graduated from H.S. last year, so hopefully that has changed. I always thought it was weird. I feel like it something small kids learn along with the other basics [wonder]

    I can't read analogue clocks.

    Last year I was an hour late to my Bio real IGCSE exam because I didn't read the right pointer. I failed it.
    Right now, whenever I go to restaurants without my digital wristwatch, I ask waitresses for the time or my mom if it's a party or something, it's frustrating and difficult for me, I've only gotten used to making out the hours, but the minute thing is literally impossible for me.

    I know how Kawaei feels T.T
