It's just slightly higher than VK(by a few hundred ) for 2nd day sales combined But i feel much happier now~~~ really want another suprise..like a jump to 50k xD

 

Wow can't believe 2nd day sales will be higher than the first day
I hope they can keep these sales or maybe 10k-20k tomorrow

Good news about the second day sales. Sales have been so funky lately (like NMB's) Aki-p needs 2 chill on all the milking. Yup with that said I can't wait for my copies 2 arrive

About the sales dropping from Valentine Kiss, I think Valentine Kiss sold more cos it got more attention, as a remake of an old song. The styles of the song and PV are also very different from our usual Warota singles(Still cute and stuff yeah, but in a very different way). That's probably why people paid more attention to Valentine Kiss.

I was wondering if it's more becuase it's basically a glorified advertisment then a proper song, or at least that people will se it in that way.....

 

I don't think so, Perfume's Laser Beam was basically a song about the product they were advertising, yet it's one of their best selling singles.

Maybe people are already getting a little tired of AKB? Maybe it's the back to back releases that encourage casual fans to only buy Flying Get and ignore subgroups?

 

I agree mostly with garnetjester, there should be no reason one of AKB48's original subunits is doing so poorly other than the market is too oversaturated with AKB48 and people's wallets just can't follow it. Too much stuff being released within a short period of each other. Recently, there was what? SKE48's Pareo wa Emerald, NMB48's Zetsumetsu Kurokami Shoujo, and Not yet's Shuumatsu Not yet? That's 3 AKB related releases within a couple of weeks, no wonder people are tired. (and I will slip in that out of those 3, the only really good one was Shuumatsu Not yet, so even the quality is slipping) Maybe I forgot some too, but I can't follow all the groups and I don't consider myself a casual fan. I used to make purchases off HMV/CDJapan every 4, 5 months or so and now I constantly have open orders with them because too much stuff is released. Sooner or later Akimoto-sensei's strategy of spamming the market will backfire on him.
