Anyhow, it just came to my my mind that the general Indonesian public likes to watch talent shows which they can vote one. Notice the popularity of Indonesian Idols, AFI and heck, even KDI way back when. Perhaps there's a good possibility that JKT48 elections and whatnot can garner good viewership as well as maintain popularity. On the subject of sinetron and the likes, I think that depends on the management. As you know, Acchan has appeared in several doramas by herself, SaeYaka's got their own radio show, and Mariko-sama's got her own tv show. It's a good strategy that there's Majisuka Gakuen and Sakura Kara no Tegami that showcases the group. With that in mind, I can see something similar happening here. Depending on popularity and budget, I'm sure at least 1 sinetron will be in the cards. Or there can be 2; 1 solo sinetron for the most popular member of JKT48 and 1 group sinetron. Hey here's another thought, could there be a Team J, Team K, Team T and so on? Given Jakarta's traffic and whatnot, that'll be a logistics nightmare on the management's side. But hey, I'll be happier. Imagine the possibility of having a Team J captain and a Team J ace natural pairing. Kind of like a local version of Takamina & Acchan.
It's a good thing if they play in drama like AKB do at this time, BUT! please don't abandon their band, they have to put priority to it first... yeah like AKB.. New single in every week wow... it's interesting when we talk about the JKT48's ACE. How will she look? My mind is fulled with Acchan's figures but hell no, no one can replace her in my heart.. Pairing?? Hmm... I think JKT48's girls won't be like AKB's, its indonesia after all... if they are like that, it will be scandal... and......we will have so many Team K. K for aKb KII for sKe Dunno KIII, for hKt or jKt. so we will have KIV soon...
Agreed. There's a lot of local chicks who look like Acchan. I think finding someone with similar looks is possible. Heh.. you're right. Or at least they'll appear in public as close friends and its the fans who pair them as such.
I dunno but I have to agree with you... yeah, my classmate looks like her even just little bit. I figure it out when I look at her, yeah since everyday we are always together... and sometime I call her Acchan [think] Indonesian is not used to something like this... not all, but MOST.

er.. Srikandi Gakuen? But seriously, having a lot of members in a group means a lot on the payroll. Given the rate of music sales in Indonesia and rife shady purchases, an AKB-like group would have to appear in everything; they'd have to make money from music, advertisements (print, tv, and perhaps radio), tv serials (with whatever storyline) or perhaps a movie (JKT48 coming to a cineplex near you! ). I'm excited for all the possibilities. Let's all support JKT48 when it's created.
I want different sinetron.... You know all sinetrons on national channel are sucks!! I don't even once watch them again. I liked Putri Tertukar before, but ..... the story is forced and so many eps already. Ceritanya ngalur ngidul that is one of indonesian's sinteron, they will do everything to increase the rating... so yeah... they don't event think about people who will probably get bored, me for example. 12 or 13 total of ep is fine to me, at least it has good ending and not ngalur ngidul .. The title of MajiGaku indonesian's ver is Mari Bersekolah yang Serius
