finally we get to hear Team K's song! it's such a pity that it was not used in any CMs like the other songs, i think it's the best out of the 3~ [rock]

Thanks for posting this one up and I really like this song from the awesome Team K . I can imagine this song being used for the opening or closing theme to an anime.

That's what "yobisute" is. But yeah, it sounds kind a little weird.

Thanks for that one. Simple and catchy, just a little TOO much beat for my taste. Goes well with the a-side.

Just now got to listen to Yobisute Fantasy. REALLY glad I got the Team B version. I like the song a lot. XD

It definitely goes well with the A-side.

I also kinda heard the similarity to Pioneer (although, granted, I did have to Google it... LOL) but I think it's still different enough. I like this better than Pioneer, anyway.^^;

Anyway, those commercials, I love how they're mostly the same, but the endings show rock, paper, or scissors... LOL (And the first one... I don't actually understand, can someone explain?) Anyway I think it's cool how there are such subtle differences.

Can't wait for this to be released... >w< It's just over a week now...

I wonder how it will sell (without Acchan)... lol I mean, she's popular, and it's a first... But this senbatsu seems pretty strong, especially with Mariko.

I don't think Acchan being there or not matters at this point, Chance no Junban sold a lot less than Beginner and Acchan was senbatsu for it *shrugs*

I think more than Acchan not being there the fact thaat Mariko is the center is a bigger factor, as garnet says Acchan was in the single last year and it didn't sell as well as other AKB singles that year, I think that this year because Mariko is the center the sales will improve (still not normal akb levels though I think!)

LOL I guess you guys have a good point.

Of course there are still a bunch of other popular girls who aren't in it, but I guess their fans probably like some other members too... (Like, Yukirin is my favorite but I actually do like Mariko too, that kind of thing.) And there's always the b-sides.

Hopefully it will sell about as good as a regular AKB single.

Couple reasons Chance no Junban didn't do well but Ue kara Mariko is gonna be better but maybe not more than regular singles are
1. They didn't have National Handshake events for Chance no Junban. (Well, Ue kara Mariko is the same, so this will make it different from other regular singles)
2. They didn't include SKE48-SDN48 girls in big Handshake event for Chance no Junban. (THIS is the huge different, since this time they included all48s in big handshake event for this single which normally there are at least 8 SKE and 2 NMB sold out their blocks, this alone gave almost 100k of sales more. Moreover, there are more AKBs girls who now sold out their blocks unlike when CnJ time)

Also AKB was selling at a lower rate last year than this year. If you take out beginner (the no. 1 song for the year), it's not too far off from the other singles last year. There's also other factors like that was the first single w/o the regular senbatsu so it might take getting used to. And really acchan's participation in CnJ was so minimal that it hardly becomes the main drawing factor. Janken highlights the center position (or at the very least the top positions) so it's more about uchi v mariko rather than (minimal) acchan or no acchan imo.

What would be considered good sales for this? What if it's 850k, would it be considered a flop?

850k and it will still be the #5 top selling single of the year so i definitely will not consider that a flop.

i think the effect of the absence of acchan in A-side is minimal since her screentime in the previous Janken single was little too. the janken single senbatsu doesn't make a huge difference to AKB fans since there is always the regular senbatsu B-side track & the team songs. i am expecting a drop in sales as compared to the few million singles we have this year due to casual fans & lesser repeated buys due to lack of handshake events, but definitely not drastically since we still do have kojiharu, miichan & mariko in the senbatsu as compared to previous year whereby not only the public's knowledge of AKB was much lesser, the few front girls were indeed less known.

i can't wait to see the rest of the pvs.

loved the performance, was totally amazing. Really like this song, since the first time I heard it Miichan looked amazing in the performance
