Has anyone ever made the link that in England "Nana" is a fully acceptable name for Grandma? More Scottish in origin, but it's fairly common to hear it countrywide. or are they just going with because she's oldest?

The Junjou U-19 shirt looks pretty sick!


Too bad I feel like I have enough NMB stuff already. It took me a month to get the Milky New Year's T-Shirt and in the end it cost me like $50. I'll be mad if it looks terrible, too.

 

^ I heard that shirt was given out free to whomever attended the Valentines day concert too.

 

LOL, with that shirt, I feel as though there may be room for one more thing!

NMB has now 67 members (SKE has 69 members, 5 generations).
The youngest from the 3rd generation is Yamauchi Tsubasa, 11. The oldest is Kono Saki, 17. The average age is 14 (HKT's was 13,9).

They performed Teppan (aka Junjou U-19) yesterday. According to some people, Katou Yuuka was the center. Kamieda did most part of the talk during the MC introduction.

And after Mutou Tomu (AKB KKS), Imade Mai (SKE KKS) and Nakada Kana (Nogizaka46), we have a Kamieda Emika now

According to some of the girls Google+'s Takamina made another surprise appearance at the theatre last night. Not sure if it was an M performance or a 2nd gen performance (they performing as M yet?)

Yuyu said that it's going to be shown on Mujack on the 9th of March.

sweet. the first mujack special on Team N was great, can't wait for the second one! i don't think Team M has really kicked off so i'm excited to get to know them.
i remember being excited because i was like "oh man! bird with takamina AND with sayanee!" but now i think sayanee by herself is superior, lol.

i was reading a story on a japanese akb wiki...

basically sayanee really wanted to perform end roll from K4 for the anniversary show because she likes the dance, but she had trouble because they didn't have a lot of time to practice it. so when she had work with oshima yuko, she asked her if she could teach just the chorus part because she didn't want to bother her too much.
during the break from work, oshima taught her the entire dance, and in addition she oshima filmed a video of to refer to.
that's why she thinks really highly of yuuko.

with that said, you know, even though junjou u-19 topped OMG, when you think about it, the subtraction of milky from OMG didn't really do much...

 

She has gained mixi followers and is still like 5th on there.

I think people over estimate the importance of a single member when it comes to sales. AKB's janken singles are good proof, even with most of the senbatsu missing they still sold well. Did not having Mirukii lose them some sales.. maybe. Did it make much of a difference in the overall scheme of things.. not really.

 

In addition, Milky was not so completely missing - still appearing in TV or so, only main PV lacks her.

well, the mariko janken did, plus they implemented the willy wonka chocolate factory-style handshake ticket instead of the usual limited edition stuff.

the ucchi janken did well, but not up to the akb standard.

well, not like i really care about their economic well-being.

as long as it's fun it's all good to me, even if they only have 1 sale. =)
