    The CD case quality is really bad. It's too thin and it's plastic sealed to prevent scratches. But that was the version I got just now from the theater. Don't know about the version sold in Nadatop/Rakuten/ other music shop yet.

    The fragile CD case makes me think twice actually to sent the CD abroad.

    Meanwhile for shipping, you can check the price (in USD) here http://ems.posindonesia.co.id/index.php?param=rat

    Just change the "From" part to Depok.

    I get the price saying '$29,3', could someone explain that?

    I'm assuming the weight will be 250 Grams and from Depok to UK :

    EMS DOCUMENT
    $ 24,4 USD
    Max Weight : 250 gram

    EMS MERCHANDISE
    $ 24,4 USD
    Max Weight : 250 gram

    PAKET CEPAT (Express AirMail)
    $ 53,2 USD
    Max Weight : 2.000 gram

    PAKET BIASA (Regular AirMail)
    $ 31,9 USD
    Max Weight : 3.000 gram

    SURAT RLN (Letter)
    Rp 70.000,-
    Max Weight : 250 gram

    A little bit explanation :

    EMS is by far in my honest opinion is the fastest and safest route for shipping from Indonesia since you will get a tracking number for your shipment and it arrived much faster compared to other method.

    Airmail really not worth the money for small packages like CDs, besides you won't get a tracking number for your shipment

    RLN could also be a method for shipping if the packaging is not too large, you won't get any tracking number and your risk of losing your shipment is pretty high. Plus, it took longer to arrived compared to EMS. But on the other hand, you will get a lot more cheaper price.

    I would go for EMS personally.

    I use 250 grams as an assumptions but judging from Red story about how fragile the CD is, then a multiple bubble-wrap or any other safety precaution is a must which would add to the weight.

    You could also choose other method using either DHL,FedEx or UPS, but surely the fee will be astronomical.

    That's all I know about the method of overseas shipping from Indonesia using Pos Indonesia, please correct me if I'm wrong :)

    I see :D , my apologies , I thought you were confused about the method they offered since it's pretty much varied and using Bahasa as the default language.

    29,3 in Indonesia means "29.3" :)

    That... seems a lot. And that's not even factoring in the price of the album. Although given how many songs there are on it I guess it's not as bad but I wouldn't want to pay that much regularly for JKT stuff.

    Yes, shipping is pretty much the main problem for overseas buyer since Indonesia really doesn't have any flat fee for sending items overseas and very pricey on the terms of the fee. Perhaps that RLN method is a much more viable option pricewise, I hope the packaging could be categorized as a letter tho' .

    I guess in reality it works out about the same as when I accidentally ordered a magazine from japan via EMS. But if anybody's willing to sell me one in this case I'll be happy to pay. It helped once I actually converted the price into GBP.

    Well since this is for general discussion of JKT48, let's move to this thread viewtopic.php?f=46&t=5825 to discuss about the Album.

    Regarding shipping cost, well it's pricey, but with EMS there's a tracking number. But if you want to use the regular postal services then it'll be okay

    Do they?
    If you're only assuming, because you saw that the country address lists many options when you're checking out, I still do think they don't actually do it. I don't know why they do that tho, but yeah :(
    I sent them an email asking about it too, btw.. still got no reply until now however

    Dhike did kind of a model walk, body roll and then went back lol, so random Dhike! <3
