I watched the most recent episode last night. Nyan's choice for "My Best Scene" was hilarious. I laughed a little when they mentioned they were doing this bit considering Mocchi only had one scene in the K drama.

The WTF moment for me had to be Lemon in the TV remote costume. It was like a train wreck in that I couldn't look away. My expression was pretty much the same as the "other" Lemon that was sitting down with the popcorn. I've mentioned before that Lemon's not really my favorite, but if she ditches that Fresh Lemon schtick and keeps doing funny stuff like the remote costume, I may change my opinion about her.

This reminded me that AKBingo still owes a revenge for the AKB girls after the rigged Jurina challenge.

 

he lost a bet and had to shave his head in a segment of akbingo and that was supposed to air yesterday and next week
guess its "inappropriate" due to the miichan thing so thats why we have 2weeks recap now

 

who would possibly think it that way ?
I actually wanted to see him bold... quite a funny epi had it aired
what a waste, this recap Epi are boring and so " dry "

 

The video alone could restart the whole (pointless) discussion again about what Miichan did. It very probably would be taken out-of-context resulting not in some fun discussions about the ep. but a very negative backlash comparing it.

 

Is it a possibility that they'll air that episode in the future?

I don't mind a re-cap of past episodes now and then, since it seems I don't remember some of the things like Yuuko's hazukashi make up bit. It's also refreshing to see what the girls looked like early on. Non-bleached Tomochin and Mariko with long hair.

Wait they stopped blurring out graduated girls? I think they were still doing that into December last I saw, would be great if they stopped doing that altogether [wonder] I have never seen it as a good thing to blur out the girls unless they wanted to be. Unless they think it somehow takes away from the current members of AKB48 [wonder] [wonder] [wonder] anyone know why they do that blurring of graduated girls?

 

No, there were still some blurred faces. One of Maimai's didn't count because her face was covered with whipped cream. They've gone as far as silhouetting graduated girls faces on the Set List ~ Greatest Songs ~ Kanzenban album. As to why they do it, I'm really not sure. Just makes it really weird to see when they show very early footage of AKB and everyone's blurred.

 

To me it almost seems as though they do not want you to see girls that have left AKB48 because they(the company) could somehow lose money or prestige? That "oh hey I see this girl I like her! oh wait she is no longer in AKB48? eh I don't need AKB48 now I will just go get all her current stuff forget AKB48" Is the kind of sense I get from seeing the blurring.

 

I'm guessing it's because they probably need the girls' permission to use their image on shows so girls can request to get blur out if they no longer want to associate with AKB's name. If a girl join a new agency, agency can ask AKS not to use her image. Girls leaving under bad circumstances, or cause problem after they graduated will edit out of the clip to protect AKB's name

I'm pretty sure there are legal reasons behind this

 

Exactly, Japan is pretty strict when it comes to copyright.

I'm sure there are also cases where ex-member just didn't want their faces to be seen anymore.

For example, Maimai's face was edited out a while after once AKB's fame exploded, mostly due to she didn't want to be seen as an ex-member trying to grab to extra attention due to association now that the group is famous.

And there are other members who leaves to return a normal life didn't want their face to be seen anymore.

actually its a new game, I am so looking forward to it ... new games are always nice every now and then as this
keeps the show alive ... spinning chair seems funny hehe
