Fujie Reina (Reinyan) / AKB48 4th Generation

yea i still remember when oshima mai was leaving the one thing that bothered her was if reinyan would really be ok and then i still remember reinyan coming to oshima mai's room to talk about stuff and say thanks hahah good old times but yea that was the first time i saw reinyan but she has really grown up looks wise and personality wise haha

 

Well, she was like what 15 at time? (almost 4 years ago) And if I remember correctly, she wasn't exactly mush in well with other member of her age, which were more of a crowd of weirdos and otaku led by Mayuyu who was getting along with other top AKB members at time and AKB back then don't have as many young member who are looking at fashion path.

Also doesn't help other fashion focused top members either already have members they likes and mentors or are hard to get close to. Mariko already mentoring Oku and Jurina. Kojiharu were known to be loner and was just starting to get close with her own generation of members. Itano wasn't that popular at time either and hard to get close to as well. So it's understandable why Maimai would be worried.

 

I wasn't an AKB Fan going back to those days, so I don't know about nostalgia but since was recalled Mai Mai here. I remember when watched that episode that was very touching to me, I'm talking about the marathon one(and sorry if I'll spoiling someone here XD) when Reinyan among Chiichan, Meetan, Sayaka(if I don't remember them wrong) plus the very same Mai Mai, they ran that mentioned marathon, and as Reinyan was the first to arrive near to the finish line but she didn't even cross the line until when Mai Mai could arrive(she was the last XD) and then they crossed together. What a sweetie.

I don't know but it looks that they have a truly close relationship, the last time that I can recalling some Mai-Reina stuff, was the last year where Mai posted on her blog something like that she gave her full support or claiming to people to support Reinyan. Was on the times of 2012 general election. I'll try to find out the date of that blog entry because is true.

Btw and for the lulz, I remember who someone said me that Reinyan has a kind of curse because all her friends or closest members are leaving sooner or later but I see some of them remaining yet

As for the news itself in the article(s), was regarding the press conference in Tokyo for Fuji TV's Show "Nippon wo Tsuritai!" last year around among May-June, which Oshima Mai was regular during it season in 2012. As also she seized the proper moment to say those charming phrases.

Ah! Btw, just in case and as always I forget it, if someone is curious about it on the same entry that she posted regarding her movie/dvd, she also mentions that she's IN at sousenkyo, something relatively obvious but you know, probably someone will gonna ask.

Reinyan got being regular for the MBS's Radio Show 「Gocha Maze!」, She was casted for the ones that are aired on Wednesday at 1:00 AM JST, so, she will share with pop culture personalities like Kendo Kobayashi, Takanori Nishikawa and SUNAO(abingdon boys school), Yasei Bakudan(Kawashima Kunihiro & Rossy), Yuko Fueki and Makoto Okunaka(PASSPO☆). The show is focused on Kansai Area(Osaka) but for what I could read it's appreciably popular in japanese audiences, so this means it's good news for Reinyan.

Reinyan since the middle of the last year until these days, had several participations in random events and especially in events like the ones for Pigoo's Girls News where she's the MC. This is her first radio show as regular.

On the other hand, I found out that Reinyan has sold out all her HS slots yesterday at the 4th round. [rock]
It seems that those random past performances on TV has worked for her after all, though I always had that feeling that she's that more popular than people think.

 

Despite being back row, glad to see her back in senbatsu for Sayonara Crawl. Like mentioned, she does a lot of extracurricular activities so hopefully they gain her more fans. Hopefully her rank goes up but it'll definitely be a tough fight this year.

 

Lol yeah, she's back to senbatsu, after a long time since Namida Surprise, if I was a fan since then and before probably I would be very happy(and pissed off beforehand) but actually not that much since I only know the group almost after passing from RIVER's release(wait that's also a long xD).

As for Sayonara Crawl, she's in the back row and as the last one in that line to the right, so I don't have too much of expectatives regarding the screen time as to be honest.

Ah btw, Reinyan's wotas launched their unofficial fanpage like two-three days ago, it's mostly because the general election but maybe they will be adding more cool stuff along the time and those guys are in high spirits, symbolically they want to rank her at #17 or something like that. It's looks nice their website.

On more random Reinyan's stuff, she will attend "Chiba-shi Shougai Gakushuu Center" (or "Lifelong Learning Center" of Chiba City) located at her hometown for it seems to give a lecture and kind of motivational talk. Practically on that website mentions that she will explain about her career in AKB, the obstacles and as she was able to achieve some of her goals in it(one of those was being senbatsu).

I really don't follow AKB much anyone, but Reinyan has always been one of my favorites, as you can see from my avatar.
She has grown into such a beautiful young lady now!

really happy Reinyan is getting more push, those random Tv appearances, senbatsu this single and more shows, really happy, though her appearances in Sayo is short but it's better than nothing right, plus we get solo shots of her in Romance kenjuu

 

Wondering why it took so long for her to finally get pushed. She been a member since Oshima Mai so long ago.

 

maybe because she just turned 18 last year and Akimoto didn't felt the crisis of transition until Acchan is leaving, that's when we started to see a lot of Senbatsu girls like Akicha, Sae, and Chiyuu get removed to make rooms for new girls. as we can see the trend most members get their push when they are around 18, they will only get pushed ahead of this age if they are truly exceptional.

 

The push is mostly because now she can sold out 10,000 handshakes tickets in about four-five rounds. This may be more like an exceptional case....

Add the fact that those summer singles since Ebikachuu always have a ridiculous number of members in it. Nobody can secure us that she will be in the 33rd single for the A-side line-up as to say an example, probably she will be back to her 'underdog' status. This is more like a reward for her constancy or something.

She mentioned about this concern in a recent interview(in a link above).

Reinyan gonna appear on the Cover of Manga Action(release on June 4th). She did a gravure shoot at that famous place Shinjuku Golden Gai, the photographer was Nozawa Hironobu(this guy).

The theme of the shoot is about the stretch of becoming an adult through throwing off her Seifuku clothes(as you can see in the picture below). This mostly due that she's almost turn out her 20 years old in the next year.

Also were reported her current measures. Her height is about 1.62m; Bust: 77cm; Waist: 61cm and Hips: 87cm.

Just a few hours ago Tokyo Sports(via Yahoo!) published a short interview. It's practically the same topics that she has answered at other ones before, like the chance to be selected for the 'big senbatsu' and else. But it came the topic about graduation and from what I got it, she said that she gonna still doing all her best, despite lately she has heard a lot about the AKB 'Jisedai', though who knows.

Glad to see her rank up with all the new competition coming in hard. Sort of sucks she'll be in the back but still a great result.
