I liked Hitomin :( When is her last performance? I wanna watch it. Hitomi was really fun and interesting and she wasn't your typical idol. Well, maybe she was, but on TV shows she was always very bold and didn't just stand in the background giggling like so many other idols do. I like those types of girls, so I'll miss her a lot.

    so i'm bummed about hitomin
    bummed about yui
    that's alright, i'll cheer up.

anyway i was watching the akb48 youtube concert and watching the junjou u-19 performance. still a rad song, and they had an interesting performance cast that had kinoshita haruna, shimada rena, even yogi keira.

but more importantly i thought those outfits were rad, especially the hair ornaments that had "NMB" and "HONMA!" on it. it reminded me a lot of the hip-hop style that was prevalent when kanye west became popular, and labels like billionaire boys club and bape were big.

in an effort to find stuff related to that style i went on their shop. i didn't find anything, but i did find something weird.

    men's board shorts?
    i guess, lol.
i'm actually considering getting them. nothing says cool like tiger print pockets and random japanese writing on the leg that says something like "now you'll look better!" i'm not sure if that writing is included on all the shorts or if they're just the bonus if you get the lucky pair that actually has it.

    bonuses are
set a: one of each kind will actually have the signature
set b: fill out a post card and you could potentially win tickets to see a show

Aw, BII going back to AKB's roots doing promotion on the street. I think they were just added too soon. M isn't even fully on their feet yet, and BII just sort of gets forgotten. I've watched one of their LODs. They're a great group of girls. Major underdogs at this point though.

While its really cool, its kinda sad
It just shows how little some teams are promoted - if you're gonna have teams, they should all be (relatively) even and promoted
A, K and B had time to build themselves, but the other groups only really have their main team in the spotlight. I think thats why I like Rena's move to E - they've moved one of the ace's to a lesser known team

Aki-P better be handing out new and original stages to everyone soon! Stop shuffling and actually do something we enjoy :|

    Reposting from the Manabu-kun thread..

Interesting statistic from the professor that appeared on this week's episode of Manabu-kun. He estimated that NMB generates a total revenue of 40.5 billion yen for the Kansai region (He was estimating conservatively as well).

I think that equates to about 40 million dollars just for the third best selling group. Of course, that doesn't factor in any goods from the NMB shop/NMB goods/Concert tickets/photobooks in general but wow. Some hefty numbers.

Good day all the NMB lovers~

I just got back from Nippon, and I was in Kansai during the Western concert tour. I was lucky enough to see the one in Kobe. Dont have any words to describe how breath-taking and bombastic their performances were, especially Saya-sister's....... man... it was so surreal that I don't really remember much of it. HAHA.

Actually, I was at Namba when Shu-chan was passing out the flyers..... however, I didnt get to see her cuz I was playing pachinko with my friend. :fp:

Got to see Team M perform that night on screen at the theater..... along with Hitomin's graduation announcement. :fp:

    Great time though.

I've mentioned on twitter before, N3 is like Keyzer Soze. It doesn't really exist, but just the thought that it possibly might exist, is enough to motivate the members to do what they're told.
