Mariko's really working hard at the moment, another 2 revival performances down. And she sweated a lot ..erm sorry lol.

I can't wait for the inevitable bluray set of these shows even though it will be phenomenally expensive

Oh Mariko, you so silly. Somehow I feel like this poster has a joke or other meaning I'm not catching.

I don't think it's a joke though.
I think what the poster meant was that she's waiting for everyone to accept her once more as a member worthy to be in senbatsu.

So yeah, IMHO, this poster is her serious side to see whether the fans still feel that she's senbatsu worthy. I hope she still remains in... Unless there's some weird stuff happening and her fans all suddenly disappe.... ARFGH. SAVE. MEEEEEE ------

Continuing this from Takamina thread. I think the main reason why Mariko were chosen was because Aki-P and probably the management too, seeing that the group is still so new and had a very small fanbase at that time, saw that Mariko can draw and built more fanbase for AKB48 as many people especially fans really like her. Just think of her as a fan magnet

I think that was first reason that Aki-P chose her..
But she tried to improve her skills too, in singing, dancing, modeling, and MCing.
She proved to her fans that she can be part of AKB48...
that's the reason why Mariko's fans always follow and support her too

They are expensive but I think I could buy an outfit there The designs are cute and I might be further persuaded because it is Mariko's brand lol.

I showed the PV for Sayonara to my mother...and when she saw Mariko she said 'Oh, that's quite ugly!'
However, since she always says that all the members look the same and all the songs seem the same I didn't take her too seriously...
PS: of course I replied that Mariko is actually cute.
