No doubt there has to be fans out there who are as amazed as i am by the solos in songs such as AKB48, LOVE CHASE, Only Today and plenty of others So guitarists - and air guitarists too - share some experiences with playing music from AKB48 and about your instrument! can't wait to see what you all at STAGE48 can do
I'll start with my own guitar Fender Stratocaster called Blu She's been around for about four years now and has been making quite a bit of progress lately - paired with the Fender Frontman Amp and a bunch of celluloid Fender picks -//- and here's a tab of Only Today's solo http://rapidshare.com/files/105492601/O ... 1.doc.html its not perfect and i might be adjusting it soon but have fun!
Thats a sexy geeeeetar alas i have 0 instrument playing skills i dont have that kind of co-ordination LOL so i have to rely on vocal skills I always fancied learning drums though. OH actually i can play some bass lol
Same here! Been playing the set for about a year but I've never gotten any lessons on it but I usually jam with some my favorite J-rock songs. I even tried out some AKB48 songs like Blue Rose and those other rock type songs from them
LOL i'm a drummer too  I'm with a band called Shiroi Hana, there we play ZONE, Morning Musume and AKB48's songs. The most recent AKB48's song we covered was AKB48. Yeah the solo part, our guitarist said, was hell But we're working on our own songs right now.
wow that's quite a few drummers...no guitarists at all? no way @kyu: yes the solo for AKB48 IS hell...don't have it down not even 80% yet to the drummers then: does it take you long to get the bass drum down? i can only play with a simple bass
^ What do u mean by getting the bass drum down? Well I've get used to my set after a few weeks playing it. Now I can't part with it
i can't play the bass drum right for some reason! my foot just loves following what my hands do kind of like guitar playing when you're feet move or jump around according to what you play - i can't separate my hands and feet =(
I had a lot of problems playing guitar while singing, nowadays it's just ok but I'm still improving my skills =]
^ the most is heavy/power metal I've never tried to play jpop or jrock :\ dont know why I'll give it a try maybe
maybe because you're originally a guitarist. As for me, I'm still having a difficulty separate the right foot movement (bass drum) and my left foot movement (hi-hat). It's my weakness. @trancendental_protagonis : long time no see, man!!!
=] I've been busy with college stuffs, and next month we have a performance on a festival, it's gonna be insane ;D
Ahahahaha...if it's you, I believe that you will be making some noize up there on the stage. Break a leg!!!
Not so into guitar but i can do some bass playing with guitar although i didn't own one bass guitar. Basically i am a drummer as well.
Does this count? GEETAR HEROOOOOOOOO~ I've always wanted to learn Guitar, but the time and the money have never been there. Maybe one of these days I'll try it, but I have a feeling I'll be disappoined when I just can't pick it up and start playing Motley Crue.
^ that would be good practice for an actual guitar. i have an acoustic guitar but i don't really practice, i bought it awhile back. I did get some cool Japan guitar picks at this one store in Kyoto last month.
@Datalanche: guitar hero totally prepares you for actual guitars! after playing a bunch of songs on Guitar Freaks i actually got a lot quicker so... once you're pro with that you've got there try out an actual guitar! if you happen to get the same model you'll prolly be extra pro
Nice thread hillshire i'm basically a bass player in the band, but i'm into guitar nowadays, and yeah a lot of AKB song is quite difficult to play and the solo part was complex for examples. Maria, Bird, Korogaru Ishi ni Nare, and ofcourse AKB48 etc. i've tried to do the solo from the simple song like Senaka kara dakishimete (cause i like the song very much), and Namida no shounan
