Hi. i remember seeing some post about university in this thread before. I'm going to a process of about to applying to university. Here i wanna ask a question. What is recommended IT university in Tokyo? I want to study about programming and shit. Basically Computer programming. So under what faculty is it supposed to be. i'm an undergraduate and i just saw the University of Tokyo website but unable to find the desired program. Can someone help me with this? P.S English language and Japanese language is fine
Hi! Are you going to apply for undergraduate student or graduate student? There's an interesting program called monbugakusho, it's from Japanese government which will provide us full tuition reduction scholarship and give a huge amount of living expenses. For undergradute you'll have to register for the selection program next year and if you win the scholarship you'll be enrolled to learn Japanese for 1 year. After that you'll be put into the desired university for the rest of the 4 years. Unfortunately I don't have enough information for graduate student but you'll be become a research student before enrolled to the graduate student program.
@saniam: im going to apply university as an undergraduate student. Im currently looking at waseda university for computer science and engineering. One question. In Japan, do students enter by entrance exam or by grade ? Thanks
