Interesting that all of the new Team 8 members have applied...I can't really see them ranking in such a short amount of time, though.

 

Sasshi has applied, as has Harugon and Wasmin.

Team 8 is kinda pointless. Girls who have been there for years haven't ranked, and nobody is really going to know these girls? I can't really take it seriously tbh

 

About Team 8, are they permanent members or...?

I was actually hoping for Harugon to participate so this is a pleasant surprise for me. While it is true that it'll be tough for her to make it further than a future/next girls position, I don't see the harm done by participating. Surely some Japanese fans miss her while she's in Indonesia.

As for the team 8 girls Good luck you young bunch!

 

Looking at the official site...is it entirely intentional that the photos for Team 8 members all make those girls look like they're at least 40? I saw one of the pics and thought "oh, the Otona AKB member is participating"! They somehow found a filter that adds wrinkles and wax-like skin.

Nethertheless if this is a great way of management to earn more money or stupid to let them enter with public less knowing… I don't know...
