I have a suggestion for the profile section, but it might be worth debating before adding. It lists when we became a member of the forum, but not when we became a fan of the 48 Group. Something like Fan since: (year) would be enough. Also, head's up, the link in the introduction thread in the Attention New Users type post no longer works.
I wonder how many member would lie in that "Fan since" section, especially those having the newbie complex. I do not see much of a gain in this. We do have a thread to tell the tale of since when did we become fan somewhere in the General AKB48 Discussion Forum, I believe that would suffice.
If you run into any issues with Tapatalk, it's not something that we can fix. You'll have to contact them for support. Not going to have a "Fan since" field. I appreciate the idea, but it's not something that we can control. Members will give arbitrary dates and we'll have no way of confirming them to be true.
Question: Why signature, profile and message parts don't have 'upload a file'? It would be better to be able to directly upload an image for signature right? Thanks in advance.
Is the forum still enforcing this rule. I understand that the new forum software is quite flexible in the options field but with the new rules still not publish are we still following this rule that was crafted with the old phpbb software still in use. I inquire because I notice a number of images are posted at Full Image and some of this are magazine scans.
The "Like" button is gone, but some posts here and there are still getting likes. Does it mean that Likes are now restricted to forum staff?
The like function is currently still disabled, but there seems to be a glitch that allows members using Tapatalk to like posts. No big issue.
Oh great. I can just imagine the influx of Tapatalk usage, and the accompanying "sent from my blah, blah, blah". I know, I know. It is not something you can fix on your end, the "sent from...." . It is up to the user to change that particular setting. Still bugs the crap out of me. It evokes epeen contests to me. Which is . I am generally amused by epeen contests. Apparently not with my Idol entertainment.
What about auto sizing pictures? Many forums have that feature so members don't have to resize each picture first, then upload to a picture host. Second, bigger or at least wider sig pictures would be nice. I understand that a tall picture can get in the way of browsing but the width of a picture shouldn't matter unless its wider than the forum.
This may be an old question (or suggestion), the number of current page is hard to recognize, especially you're from smartphone. So please make the number of current page to stand out. (maybe using slightly bold font now, please change the color or italic fonts or apparently different font...) thanx in advance
Just a suggestion. But do you think it is time to update the headers on the main page? Perhaps get rid of the Request Hour and Travel Diary links for something more current? Maybe the Sousenkyo? The new NMB single?
Is there any new advances regarding the proposed news site? It would gave been very convenient in cases like today. It would have helped confused newer fans without much sources as compared to older fans, so that they don't spread disillusioned rumors or what not
