Her fans didn't really increase the past 3 years. If they didn't create the 65th to 80th position,she would not have ranked.

 

You can't really expect to Myao get a significant number of new fans. She's no longer a proeminent member anymore :/ Anyway it was fair that they created the Upcoming girls, because there are way more members in G48 than before. Myao and Tanamin got placed fairly. I'm way more chocked for how Mariyagi lost so much votes :O

I think it's interesting to see how little the number of votes she's got each year has changed; it makes me think that in terms of general popularity she's not doing that badly, maybe she just lacks fans who are willing to buy multiple tickets? I'm just glad she's back in as a ranking member, I've always liked her and I always love her TV appearances in particular. I hope she'll stay on at least another couple of years.

Lots of mixed statements in this thread since the last time I read it. Many of them I expected.
I just wanna say one thing before I go back to forgetting about this forum.
Don't talk about how sad it is that her popularity went down, talk about the awesome things she's doing now and why more people should accept her again.
Myao doesn't need pity, she's happy with what she has now and this sadness is born from fans who assume alot from a glance.

 

Agreed. But...I don't think she's satisfied with her position now. You can see her dissatisfaction on her looks when she's called on 78th. IMO she expected to be on higher ranks(maybe on FG, based on prelims)

Yea she's not. I had my hopes up from the preliminaries so the actual results were a huge let down. Lots of people told me "well.. at least she passed and thats great". Sure it is, but she shouldn't be proud of just "ranking". If anything, it could be considered insulting because that's what we're supposed to be hoping for. I want Myao to get the rank she deserves, and above all, I want her to get a rank that she's more than satisfied with.

And yea thanks, it was the best moment of my life.
