Not my answer but honestly the first reason why I started getting into AKB, Heavy Rotation especially is such an earworm. This was interesting to read, a lot that I kind of expected and a lot that I agree with. Whoever has met their oshimen 100 times, damn, that's dedication. Kudos. In particular, one comment that I thought was interesting is "The fact that they're slaves of their discography somehow." That's a really interesting way to put it and a good point. People complain about the songs but since AKB has so many songs, it has a lot to live up to with each new release.
