Gauron was only one member of a much larger organization. That organization is alive and kicking after TSR.

Well, any anime that I would recommend would be mecha series, as thats pretty much all I watch nowadays. Full Metal Panic is a great series to watch, as it has a great balance between mecha and characters, Gundam 00 is awesome, and for series airing right now, you can't go wrong with Code GEASS and Macross Frontier.

Don't forget Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. One of the top animes in 2007 IMO.

You know, I never actually got around to watching that, even though I love the mecha designs and I've heard nothing but good things about it. Ah well, guess it just wasn't my thing. I think it might have to do with the fact that I'm not really interested in super-robot type shows as much as I used to be.

I'm happy I made a right decision to download Macross Frontier. This anime is just great to watch. Love it so much.

Yup, one of the best anime's I've seen in awhile, and its not even finished airing yet. So many great characters in it too...one of my faves being Kuran Kuran...she's just so kickass.

^ I have a question. Does it have any relationship with previous Macross? I'm quite confused because this is my Macross anime.

Yes, Frontier takes place in the same universe as the other Macross series. This series takes place almost a decade after the events of Macross 7, which takes place a few years after Macross Plus, which takes place around 30 years after SDF Macross. And just for reference, Macross Zero takes place 3 years prior to SDF Macross. So the series progress as such:

    Macross Zero - 2008
    SDF Macross - 2012
    Macross Plus - 2040
    Macross 7 - 2045-2047
    Macross Frontier - 2059

That means the story line is not related to each other series..?
The only related is the year...

Well, the story for each series is different, and the characters are usually new for each series, except for Macross 7, which featured some of the characters from SDF Macross. They all take place in the same timeline though. You could easily watch Frontier without having seen the other series, but it would help you understand the setting better..and the other series are awesome anyway.

    I'm a really bad anime watcher. o:
    I get bored easily.

But, lately, I've been trying to get into it! And I have watched the anime Bottle Fairy. Has anyone here seen it? It's like, the cutest thing everrr. <3 I lol'd the whole time. I love when Hororo is in her own little world.

^I've seen the first DVD, and I loved it. I thought it was very cute. The shortness of the episodes help a lot.

Yeah, the OST kicks ass. One of the best anime OST's I've heard in awhile. Infinity is definitely my fav vocal track off of it, and pretty much every BGM is awesome as well.
