Minegishi Minami (Miichan) / 1st Generation

Well from my one time experience meeting Miichan at 2-shot event last May, i can say she understand english well, as i have spoken to her directly in english (due to the frustration that i can't convey my feelings and what i had in my mind at that time to her in japanese) but surprisingly she understand what i'm saying even if she replied me using Japanese (which i understand well what she's saying back). That makes me quite relief

 

I hope i can meet him one day, I want to go Japan in the next year but Miichan has no much time left in akb tbh

Guys, I don't know if any of you follow Sasshi's show "Renai Sousenkyo", Miichan has been in it a couple of times... If you don't, let me tell you there's a section in witch the members of AKB48 Group confess to a fan/oshi. I was watching last episode and it suprised me that they have received applications from abroad too. So I made my application too :3 Even though I'm a girl.
If you want to apply, there's no harm in trying, you never know... I'll let here the page!

@javilind Did you apply? Would you go to Japan -to the program- if you are one of the winners? I'd apply if I could go Japan right now but there is not any money xD

 

They go where you live, to surprise you. They haven't been outside of Japan yet... and it doesn't seem like they'll try it overseas, but there's no harm in trying it, right?

Holy shiiiiiiiiii, IT'S TATAMI!!!

How the hell have you been? I'd really like to catch up with you. Miichan has been through A LOT since the last time we heard from you.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with Tatami, he's a living legend. I exaggerate, of course, but all I can say is that he is an early theater pioneer that paved the way for many of us gaijin fans! He's the reason I joined s48 waaaay back when. When he says Miichan knows about s48, well, it's true and it's all thanks to him. Back in the days before AKB hit it big and we were spoiled with LOD's, TV shows, and the like..fans like Tatami were the only way, other than going to the theater yourself, to get connected with the group. Do yourself a favor if you haven't gone through the early days of this thread (as well as the AKB experiences thread) and read some of his posts. You won't regret it


As a side note, I feel I must apologize to everyone here for being away from s48 for what seems like forever. Real life issues have been taking their toll on my free time.. my posts went from being days apart, to weeks, to months..

I will try to get involved more often. Even though the group and fandom has changed drastically, my love for Miichan hasn't waned even the slightest bit. Special thanks to all the wonderful people who contribute to this thread. From all of the old-timers, to the folks who became fans just recently. You guys are the best!

Edit: This was probably posted elsewhere, but have you guys seen the boxart for the Request Hour 2014 (100~1) release yet? Hehehe..

 

Welcome Back Tatami!!! Even though I am a new fan and I don't know much about you, but from what flagator21 mentioned, I need to track back to the older posts!!

No Miichan. I be sad Mii-fan. Hopefully she makes an appearance in the drama portion of the full PV.

 

I realized it too! But I guess she must be in the PV, after all she ranked in Undergirls and therefore theoretically must be included in the single, unless it has something to do with her kidney problem some time ago...

 

I don't know why she isn't there, maybe @zoeykobe has reason but I don't really know since she is one UG. Let's wait for the full PV

Easy. She learned straight from Tatami.

You used to be able to have more time with a member at handshake events in the past. So, between those, the occasional 2-shots he would have with Miichan, and fan letters... she was in-the-know

About the undergirls PV.. I'm not positive, but it was probably filmed during the time Miichan was recooperating from her medical condition. It's happened in the past, where members have missed the filming of a PV because of illness. It's regrettable, if that's the case.
