I think that before this year, Yukirin hesitated to directly ask for #1, in many interviews she expressed her support for Mayuyu to become #1. This year Mayuyu's dream became true, and she reached her goal, and I think Yukirin is now ready to compete for real, and ask to be #1! I hope that it happens (next year), it would be so amazing for her... really.
that MS thing definitely not about SSK, cuz they just finished it. after i read your source the way you add "..." after the sentences kinda suspicious whether she serious or not, it depend the way she said it n her face expression, cuz yukirin often make her "dekkito" face when she say something serious. so there is 2 possibility: 1. now that mayu dream has been fulfilled, the burden has been lifted, so she really want to be no.1 2. she just making excuses so she wont graduate from akb, we know she love to do both group n solo idol, cuz she always said that both have different vibes n tastes.

i've listen allnightnippon after tokyodome with yui&ricchan, when they ask again about graduation, yukirin just say she still have things to do in akb thats all. she didnt add anything beside that, so i guess its just part of MC joking. Spoiler
