Some quick news..

Yesterday, at Indonesia WOW! concert, JKT48 (and also Slank) have been appointed as BNN's Anti-Drug Ambassador. Manda's jacket is oversized lol

 

Haruka Project consist of four man team and that's enough to form a band like Silent Siren or SCANDAL, that should be interesting.

 

Well I'm not sure about JOT wanna build Rona's fanbase, it could be though, I hope it is, but a simple explaination probably that Honda as the client here have a right to choose which of the girls to be the main ambassador for their brand and Rona just fit perfectly for them and JOT cant say anything about it :b

I really hope that for next following year JOT can push the members as an individual persona to their client not just as a unit

I hope next senbatsu election will give members a benefit to be represent by another talent agent just like their sister group member, then JKT48 can grow into this "idol academy", isn't that the main goal is for them

btw regarding AKB48 anniversary does anyone know any info about JKT48 participation on this event?

 

^ anniversary? why would JKT participate in AKB anniversary? or you mean AKB Kouhaku?

 

AKB48's 9th anniversary? No both JKT and SNH didn't get to do anything (Harugon is mentioned during the 3rd gen performance)

 

It was already held on december 8...and no overseas group was directly involved in the show...

 

Haruka's JKT48 profile picture made an appearance in 3rd Generation (AKB48) performance of 3rd Generation Oshi.

About the 10th Anniversary, I don't think there is further information about it except that the concert is going to be Takamina's Graduation. I believe this 10th Anniversary concert is going to be HUGEEEE and very emotional, I think that this concert should include ALL sister group including JKT48 and SNH48. I really do hope that they perform on the concert, and I also wish that the whole JKT48 and SNH48 members would be sent to Japan to do this concert. It's a big concert it's a milestone for AKB48 and having JKT48 and SNH48 was part of the milestone that AKB48 have. My opinion is that they HAVE TO take JKT48 and SNH48 to Japan.

 

I think it'll be like the Olympics opening ceremony, everyone will have to make an appearance

JKT48 1st gen spend their first year appears many times at various parking lot, and sometime added with few hostile viewers. And i think that kind of experience as decisive factor which make different between 1st gen and newer generation.

 

I really miss the early days...days when the girls are still fresh...anything about them made me smile at that time...no conflicts between fans...it was all about enjoying watching the girls,no team,no rivalry....all was peace and quiet....until the fire nation came in... #sorry

 

"Make Do" rivalries and conflicts is good for JKT. Heck, even better they make money for JOT. At least there's always something to talk by fans about JKT, good or bad.
I feel that JKT popularity is steadily increase every year. Not necessarily surged but definitely there is no declines.
