Event / Concert 11th Year Birthday Live

Revenge cheers lol. Yeah even though Yokohama Arena is a smaller venue you can tell the calls we’re full of vigor making the atmosphere electrifying. Speaking of calls, I was hoping to hear Parco calls during Boku wa Boku. I’m sure that would’ve made Mizuki laugh. Also, we need to work on calls for Setsubo no Ichi byo. Congrats to Umemayo on her promotion. I was expecting vice captain announcement but we’ll just have to wait. I’m guessing it will be Mayutan.

 

Yeah. I think the fans need more concerts with the newish songs from the past 6 singles in order to figure out what the calls are to be. Definitely, was lacking during 5ki song. I thought we'd get more besides the Wow-ow-ows we did get.

I wasn't thinking that there will be a vice captain. I think they'll feel how Ume works out, and if she's a bit overwhelmed then a vice captain may be appointed.

 

yeah, I am thinking prob will be left vacant for a little longer too. Ume became vice captain probably when Manatsu felt she needed to start handing over the reins systematically for continuity. Mayutan may be vice captain in the future officially , but could already be a de facto one.

 

Part of the setlist for the first day included 20 songs that fans wanted to hear. It was a count down so flip the list to experience the actual order. Of course there were a few more songs sprinkled in between them. For those go check out the one of many setlists found on line!

It's an interesting set of songs that the fans wanted to hear. Out of all 250+ of songs, these? No Synchonicity, Influencer? No KizuKata, Romance no starto, Hoka no hoshi kara? Interesting I say.

I guess they voted for the Songs like AKB48 request hour - seeing the center coming back to perform the song

 

Asuka didn''t and won't appear in the BD lives. There's the mini live early next month. wonder if they will have Asuka back or will they go with yesterday's formation centered by Sakuchan, and probably without Manatsu too. hope by that time, they will announce her grad concert date.

Glad to see even today’s performance of Actually drew a good response, with Teresa taking over Rei’s English lines
I think looks like they are looking to perform many nostalgic unit songs

 

That was fun, I didn't expect anything but was a good setlist and very hype with the calls and chants. Still disappointed the wasted opportunity for Miku piano during some performance like during Boku dake no hikari.
Looking forward to tomorrow if we gonna get another new song first performance.

A few things that I seem to remember from the 5th Gen live. I was somewhat half asleep watching it...

1. Full size. I believe all their songs: zetsubou, bandaid, 17, and the new one were all full size
   1. Still don't know where to cheer in zetsubou
2. Hey... I got one from my wish list!
3. They were playing some oldies, but goodies
4. What's the story with that Lonley Brothers? Not sure why Shoukichi was solo for the majority of the song...
5. Iroha in the place of her beloved sempai centering Nichijo
6. That star tanjou interlude really stopped the show in its tracks, didn't it?

It was good to see them out on their own.

 

I just have one issue with the 5ki concert... Who on earth thinks it's a good idea to add 4 cover songs which they have done on Star Tanjou show itself and 4 Star Tanjou concerts. Please... there are plenty of great Nogi songs, better to use the precious time for those. Otherwise it was enjoyable and 5ki has matured considerably in just 1 year.

I like that each one of them has 1 center (unit) song chosen by themselves.

Towards the end, feels like they troll the audience by letting Miku introduce the 5ki new song, at that time I thought ah... it's Miku center, but then Teresa took the center stage... Nice!

I think it's because it's Satsuki's chosen song where she is supposed to center. But since it's a duet song, it will not be "center" if Nagi was there the whole song.

 

Much appreciated. Quite mind boggling this is only a fraction of their outfits. I wonder where the where house is to store all the sakamichi outfits. I’m also curious which members are wearing graduated members “hand-me-downs”.

 

Yeah agreed about the Star Tanjo bit being so unnecessary. Nogi has like a million songs, just give them some obscure ones so they can make them their own.

At least they chose the by far 2 best covers they have done, plus Iroha who does excellent with any song. But as good as they were it's just a different energy that didn't fit.

 

looks like no new song (yet) for 4th gen as they performed ato no matsuri(which is for 31st) for the 1st time

 

Again I was half asleep for this one, but here's some of the fun things I took away from the 4th Gen live...

1. Strong. 4th Gen just rock solid. A marked contrast from their kouhai!
2. Opened with a bang. The songs from the centers of the 4th Gen: Yoake, GomenFingers, Kimi ni shi, SukiRock. Wow.
3. Miyu's Synchronicity!
4. Kuromi's Seifuku no Mannequin!
5. The 3 song sempai section: Mannequin, Anastasia (!), Omoide First. Wow.
6. I must've dozed off for Guru Curtain and Sing Out. Gomen.
7. Did Endo memorize all that about 4th Gen?
8. The 4th Gen song block. WOW! Full sizes to Yonban and I See. Out of the Blue. Nekojita. The hole in the lineup left without Kakehashi centering Toshishitsu. Shuriken. JJF.
9. JJF and I see can really get the crowd hyped
10. I miss Kakehashi. I was hoping she would show her fun, little self...

 

That was a fun live, perfect end for the gen lives, properly shows how much they have grown and their resolution for the new era of Nogi. I really like the orchestra opening ver, would be nice if they did it tomorrow too but with an actual band too.

According to fans, Manatsu and some members with Bananaman also there at venue. Momoko also confirmed to be there.
Can't wait for tomorrow, Manacaptain last day.
